摘要: A lens moving apparatus, according to one embodiment, comprises: a bobbin having a first coil installed on the outer circumferential surface thereof; a location detection sensor equipped to the bobbin; a housing in which the bobbin is provided; an upper elastic member disposed on the upper side of the housing; and a support member that supports the housing such that the housing can move in a second or third direction that is perpendicular to a first direction, wherein the upper elastic member is divided into a plurality of parts, at least two of which are disposed parallel to each other on the x-y plane in the second or third direction and are disposed such that end portions thereof face each other.

摘要: A solar powered rainbow-making device produces a visual display that is created by the interplay of light and a light refractive element that form constantly changing patterns from a rotating crystal. The rotating display device includes a circular-shaped refractive element that is mounted on a base and is turned by a motor driven transmission gear train. The crystal rotates about a horizontal axis as sunlight is transformed into a color spectrum that moves in a circular fashion. The color images can include a plurality of distinct rainbow images that are projected onto the walls and other structures in the immediate environment.

摘要: A binocular kaleidoscope for the purpose of combining the field of repeating patterns associated with kaleidoscopes with stereopsis. A mirror chamber with an object window at the distal end and viewing lenses at the proximal end is utilized, which provides stereopsis covering the entire visual field of both the source material and its reflections. Real depth is provided in an embodiment utilizing physical material such as beads or liquids contained in one or more stacked transparent compartments as the source imagery. Virtual depth is provided in an embodiment utilizing stereoscopic video as the source imagery, in which case a mirrored divider bisects the mirror chamber. The video can be either be previously produced footage or generated in real time by software which can be interactively manipulated by the user in order to change programs or such parameters as color, motion and timing. A handheld device can be used to display the video. The stereoscopic video kaleidoscope described herein may also be adapted for use as a stereoscopic 3D viewer in conjunction with a portable computing device displaying a pair of stereoscopically complementary images. In an improved stereoscopic 3D viewer, the pair of stereoscopically complementary images enter the left and right eyes of the user along substantially parallel paths, to eliminate or substantially reduce the need for the user to cross his or her eyes and to improve focus and sharpness of the images. In additional embodiments of the improved stereoscopic 3D viewer, baffles are provided to block the extraneous direct view of the pair of stereoscopically complementary images.

摘要: A wall mounted kaleidoscope is suitable for mounting within an opening passing through a wall, ceiling or other building structure to provide a visually attractive kaleidoscope display to a viewer within the building interior. A kaleidoscope housing extends through the wall opening and is mountable to the wall. A kaleidoscope mirror structure is mounted within the housing and includes three generally triangular mirrors arranged in the shape of a triangulated pyramid, with its base facing the viewer. A rotatable drum associated with the mirror holds loose articles for generating a kaleidoscope display; the drum may be rotated by an electric motor or manually. The light source may consist of artificial illumination and/or a light-transmitting cover which protects the structure from the elements.

摘要: The invention is a kaleidoscope that folds to a substantially flat condition. The kaleidoscope has at least two mirrored surfaces joined one to another, each pair of mirrored surfaces defining a mirrored interior angle of less than 180 degrees. The kaleidoscope may be open on the third side. The kaleidoscope may be attached to folding body members such that when the body members are folded the mirrored surfaces of the kaleidoscope are folded as well. The kaleidoscope may be provided with a wheel, an eyepiece and an eyepiece lens.
