Abstract:
An immersive device may include a floor having a floor reflective surface. A first sidewall, having a first wall reflective surface, may be coupled to the floor. A second sidewall, having a second wall reflective surface, may be coupled to the floor and coupled to the first sidewall. A third sidewall, having a third wall reflective surface, may be coupled to the floor opposite the first sidewall and coupled to the second sidewall. A fourth sidewall, having a fourth wall reflective surface, may be coupled to the floor opposite the second sidewall and coupled to both the first sidewall and third sidewall. A ceiling, having a ceiling reflective surface, may be coupled to the first, second, third, and fourth sidewalls, and the ceiling may be positioned opposite to the floor. The floor reflective surface, wall reflective surfaces, and ceiling reflective surface may form the perimeter of and bound an internal reflective chamber.
Abstract:
A system for providing motion signals indicative of a motion to be performed by the motion platforms synchronously with video images comprising an input interface for extracting a motion signal from the input signal. A server provides a network address to each motion platform. A motion platform interface has control ports connected to arrays of motion platforms. Each motion platform being connected one to another by a wired connection according to a control protocol. The motion platform interface individually actuates each of the motion platforms by providing a client motion signal to each motion platform comprising the motion signal with a respective network address. Each motion platform is managed according to a respective feedback signal comprising the provided network address of each motion platform.
Abstract:
An apparatus for underwater activities including a vessel filled fully or partially with water, which vessel includes one or more open openings for entering the vessel, wherein the lower portion of the vessel is located within a body of water, all of the one or more open opening for entering the vessel are located in that portion of the vessel which is located under the surface level of the body of water, and that walls of the vessel are transparent, or the walls include sections that are transparent, for allowing observation of the activities taking place inside the vessel from outside of the vessel.
Abstract:
An automation and motion control system for theatrical objects, such as theatrical props, cameras, stunt persons, lighting, scenery, drapery or other similar types of devices or items, is provided to coordinate the movement of the objects on a large scale and/or to control the operation of the objects.
Abstract:
The amusement apparatus comprising a housing, a frame and an interior space, and a door allowing entry of a player having arms into interior space. An air circulation system fluidly connected to interior space of housing. An engagement system located within interior space. Engagement system, control system, signaling system and an air circulation system are cooperatively interconnected. A player area is located within the interior space and positioned proximate the engagement system wherein contact by player with engagement system initiates a sequence of instructions from the control system to initiate the delivery of air into interior space by air circulation system for circulation of prizes within interior space. A signal to player is sent via signaling system to discontinue player contact with engagement system so player may interact with the prizes circulating in the interior space for the purpose of removing the prizes from the housing via the interior space.
Abstract:
A simulated soup bowl entertainment attraction, comprising: a bowl-shaped member having a top bounded by a top rim, a bottom permitting light transmission therethrough, and sidewalls connecting the top rim with the bottom; a fog generator producing a fog layer at the top of the bowl-shaped member; and an imaging device producing an image within the bowl-shaped member, the image viewable from a viewing position looking down into the top of the bowl-shaped member. Preferably, the bowl shaped entertainment attraction includes an image controlling apparatus coupled to the imaging device for changing the image viewable from the viewing position. Optionally, apparatus producing sound within the bowl-shaped member may be provided. The bowl shaped entertainment attraction may include a sound controlling apparatus coupled to a sound system for selectively changing the sound heard from within the bowl-shaped member.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an electromagnetic signal projector configured to transmit a pixelated signal across a projection field. The electromagnetic signal projector includes a transmitter configured to transmit a pixelated signal across a projection field and a plurality of individual sensory modules, where each sensory module includes at least one sensory element having at least two states and the sensory modules are configured for bringing the at least one sensory element into one of its states in response to the pixelated signal.
Abstract:
A light show device includes a light source configured to generate a light beam having a substantially constant diameter, a container having a substantially transparent portion, a plurality of mirrors, each mirror connectable or connected to the container rotatably about at least one axis, and a particulate source configured to create inside the container a substantial suspension of particulates, where the device is configured to allow a reflection of the light beam between at least a majority of the mirrors.
Abstract:
A display apparatus for mounting to a back surface of a seating structure consisting of a housing formed with a rear wall for mounting to the back surface of the seating structure, a pair of side walls extending from the rear wall to a front wall, and a top wall formed with a transparent portion. The display apparatus further consisting of a display screen positioned interiorly of the housing adjacent to the top wall, the display screen displaying one or more visual images viewable through the transparent portion of the top wall of the housing, and a computer unit positioned interiorly of the housing and operatively connected to the display screen for generating the one or more visual images. Preferably, the top wall and display screen of the display apparatus are disposed at a predetermined angle of inclination to the horizontal so as to ensure that the display screen is readily viewable by a spectator.
Abstract:
The invention provides for a method of hypnotizing and entertaining members (20, 22) of an audience including the step of performing a dramatic presentation with actors (24, 26) to present a dramatic presentation. A trance is induced by a first actor (24) in the presentation on a second actor (26). A storyline is presented in the presentation. The storyline has characters, a setting, and a plot with the plot including a conflict, a climax, and a resolution. All of the step are presented by actors (24, 26) and recorded into a single video recording (28). The video (28) is played to the audience to hypnotize a first group (20) of the audience for entertaining a second group (22) of the audience. The first group (20) is instructed to perform acts identical to the hypnotized second actor (26) and the second group (22) is instructed to interact with the first group (20) in the same manner as the first actor (24) in the presentation interacts with the second actor (26) in the presentation.
