    摘要: A geolocationing system and method for providing awareness in a multi-space environment, such as a hospitality environment or educational environment, are presented. In one embodiment of the geolocationing system, a vertical and horizontal array of gateway devices is provided. Each gateway device includes a gateway device identification providing an accurately-known fixed location within the multi-space environment. Each gateway device includes a wireless transceiver that receives a beacon signal from a proximate wireless-enabled personal locator device. The gateway devices, in turn, send gateway signals to a server, which determines estimated location of the wireless-enabled personal location device with angle of arrival modeling.

    摘要: A Bluetooth-enabled device is provided, the Bluetooth-enabled device being configured to control a radio frequency (RF) chain during a first period to receive at a single antenna selected from a plurality of antennas, a constant tone extension (CTE) signal of multiple frames transmitted by the Bluetooth-enabled transmitter over multiple frequencies. Further the RF chain is controlled during a second period to switch among the plurality of antennas to receive the CTE signal at each of the plurality of antennas. An initial time-of-flight (ToF) data of the CTE signal is determined from first samples of the CTE signal received during the first period. Further, the Bluetooth-enabled transmitter is localized with respect to a location of the Bluetooth-enabled device using a signal model connecting samples of the CTE signal with an unknown angle-of-arrival of the CTE signal received at specific times, an unknown ToF conditioned on the initial ToF data.

In one aspect, a network entity receives information indicative of a set of antenna panel configurations for a plurality of network nodes, where the set of antenna panel configurations is associated with a set of energy saving modes. The network entity transmits an indication of one or more UL-SRS transmission parameters for a UE based on the information indicative of the set of antenna panel configurations for the plurality of network nodes. In some examples, each antenna panel configuration in the set of antenna panel configurations may include a number of antennas to be used in an UL azimuth angle measurement and a number of antennas to be used in an UL elevation angle measurement under one energy saving mode.

    摘要: A method of determining a position of a mobile telecommunication device (10) which transmits a signal (S) to base stations (1, 2, 3, . . . ) connected by a data link (8) comprises the steps of: correlating the received signal (S) and a reference signal (S′) so as to produce a correlation for each base station, detecting a maximum in each correlation, which maximum is indicative of a time of arrival of the signal (S) at the respective base station, and using the respective times of arrival and the distances (D1, D2, . . . ) derived therefrom to derive a location of the mobile telecommunication device. The method uses receivers (21, 22, . . . ) coupled to a data network (7), each receiver (21, 22, . . . ) deriving the reference signal (S′) from the received signal (S). Each base station may select, if it receives multiple reference signals, the reference signal (S′) having the highest quality.
