    摘要: A sample fluid stream can be received from a main fluid stream through a nozzle of a probe located at least partially in the main fluid stream. The sample fluid stream can travel into the nozzle and a portion of the main fluid stream adjacent to the sample fluid stream can flow past the probe without entering the probe. The sample fluid stream can flow downstream within the probe, and a portion of the main fluid stream can flow downstream outside the probe. While receiving the sample fluid stream, a gas sheet can be directed from the probe, with the gas sheet flowing upstream against the main fluid stream.

    摘要: A hazardous gas detection system includes a first and second plurality of air sampling ports in fluid communication with an exhaust duct of a gas turbine enclosure. The first and second plurality of air sampling ports is fluidly connected to a first and second outlet orifice respectfully. A primary sensor is in fluid communication with the first outlet orifice and a secondary sensor is in fluid communication with the second outlet orifice. The primary and secondary sensors generate signals indicative of hazardous gas concentrations in first and second aggregated exhaust air samples. A computing device monitors the hazardous gas concentrations, monitors functionality of the primary and secondary sensors and generates a command signal indicating an operating mode for the gas turbine based on at least one of the hazardous gas concentrations in the first and second aggregated exhaust air samples and the functionality of the primary and secondary sensors.

    摘要: Arrangements for withdrawing carefully controlled samples from an active flue gas source are disclosed. A testing assembly is provided for connection to downstream processing equipment to obtain a sample from a gas stream. Included is a probe, a flexible sample line and a coupler joining the probe and the flexible sample line. At least one externally controlled or self-regulating heating cable is put in heating communication with the flexible line. A receptacle engaging the coupler is also provided for positioning the probe with respect to the flue gas source.

    摘要: A probe (S) for the extraction of gas from a process environment comprises a tubular element (2), which can be positioned within the process environment. This tubular element has at one end a gas aspiration opening (TS) and defines an internal cavity (CA) by which the interior of the process environment can be put into fluid communication with a gas take off system. The probe further includes a second tubular element (1) extending into the interior of the cavity of the first tubular element (2). This second tubular element has one end (UG) disposed at the aspiration opening end (that is to say the process environment side), formed in such a way as to inject the said accelerated gaseous fluid towards the aspiration opening of the first tubular element (2) and from there back to the process environment. Also envisaged is a system for the extraction of gas from a process environment which can be coupled to the probe, comprising a circuit (40, C) aspirating the gas from the process environment through the cavity (CA) of the first tubular element of the probe (2), and a circuit (50, C) for re-injecting the said gas into the same process environment through the second tubular element of the probe (1).
