    摘要: A pneumatic protection device for a triaxial air-bearing turntable and its working method are provided. The position limiting ring is located below the test platform and surrounds the air bearing hemisphere. Two first lifting support rods are connected below the position limiting ring, and each first lifting support rod is guided up and down, sliding on the linear bearing, which is fixed on the support frame. The lower part of the first lifting support rod is connected to the bearing mounting seat, and the bearing transmission shaft passes through the needle roller bearing. The two sides of the cylinder support bottom plate are connected and fixed on the support frame by connecting plate of a cylinder bottom plate. One end of the extending rod of the cylinder is connected to the cam connecting rod, and the two ends of the cam connecting rod are respectively connected to an irregular cam.

    摘要: Disclosed is an alignment system for a vertical lathe, the lathe configured to perform a cutting process on a workpiece (W) mounted on a circular turn table (3) by rotating the workpiece (W), and the alignment system configured to, when the lathe performs the cutting process on an unbalanced eccentric workpiece, perform a center alignment operation for correcting imbalance. The alignment system includes an alignment mechanism which includes: multiple alignment weights (13) provided movable along an outer periphery (3a) of the circular turn table (3); and a movement mechanism (15) configured to move the alignment weights along the outer periphery (3a) of the turn table (3). The alignment system further includes a control unit (7) configured to calculate setting positions for the alignment weights (13), and to set the alignment weights (13) at the calculated setting positions using the movement mechanism (15), in order to correct the imbalance.

    摘要: In accordance with one embodiment, a bowling ball weighing apparatus comprises a weight scale and a bowling ball support assembly. The apparatus comprises a ball support assembly and a weight scale. The ball support assembly has a cradle which holds the bowling ball and the assembly has weight supports. Whenever the scale is read, one of these weight supports is supported by the scale and another is supported apart from the scale. In a first orientation of the bowling ball with a first hemisphere of the ball closer to the weight support supported by the scale, a first scale reading is determined. Then in a second orientation with the first hemisphere of the ball farther from the weight support supported by the scale, a second scale reading is determined. Comparison of the two scale readings allows determination of the weight imbalance of the ball's two hemispheres. This weighing apparatus is able to use a single, readily available commercial scale, making it low in cost to produce, and the use of an electronic weight scale allows fast, accurate readings.

    摘要: A method for reducing imbalance correction weight usage during a balancing operation of a vehicle wheel assembly. An imbalance of the vehicle wheel assembly is initially determined and utilized together with an established acceptable threshold of imbalance for the vehicle wheel assembly to compute a reduced imbalance value having a magnitude less than the determined imbalance. Using the reduced imbalance value, correction weight amounts and placement locations for application to the vehicle wheel assembly are identified. Determined differences between the identified correction weight amount using the reduced imbalance value and a convention correction weight amount are identified as imbalance correction weight savings.
