摘要: Embodiments provide a fluid detection device including a casing connectable to a tube filled with water and allows the water to flow to a hollow inner part; a partition wall deformable so that the hollow inner part is divided into a fluid chamber filled with the water and an air chamber opened to the atmosphere; a slide tip disposed inside the fluid chamber; and a tip sensor disposed outside the casing. According to at least one embodiment, a slide holding part which holds the slide tip slidably forward and backward is formed inside the fluid chamber, an opening part is formed in the air chamber, a magnet is disposed in the casing, the slide tip includes a magnet provided at a position facing the magnet and repelling the magnet.

摘要: A fiber optic sensor for measuring static pressure includes a cartridge housing having an end that is exposed to the atmosphere, a thin flexible membrane covering the exposed end of the cartridge housing such that the flexible membrane has an exposed side and a protected side, and a fiber bundle disposed within the cartridge housing, the fiber bundle comprising at least one fiber having a first polished end for transmitting light toward the membrane and a second end for being coupled to a light source or a receiver, the housing arranged to maintain the membrane at a distance from the first end of the fiber in a direction along a fiber axis, with free space between the first fiber end and the protected side of the flexible membrane.

摘要: The invention relates to thin silicon membranes formed in layers of silicon such as are normally utilized as substrates in the manufacture of integrated electronic circuits. The thin membranes constructed in accordance with the invention are capable of deformation by electrostatic forces and are applicable to a wide range of uses including the manufacture of solid state pressure sensors, resonant, and antenna structures, as well as electro-optical display elements. A processing technique is disclosed which is particularly adapted to forming membranes in silicon substrates in a manner which is compatible with the construction thereon of other integrated circuit components.

Useful for the in-flight recording of fluid pressure condition e.g., in the reduction gear box of a jet engine where excessive pressures are indicative of incipient failures, the device comprises a body having a cavity in fluid pressure communication with system fluid, an indicator movable relative to the body cavity in response to changes in system fluid pressure, and locking means limiting indicator travel to a single direction indicative of a relatively higher pressure condition in the system.
