Abstract:
Systems, apparatus, and methods are disclosed comprising receiving temperature information corresponding to a write temperature of at least one of multiple pages of non-volatile memory cells of a group of non-volatile memory cells, determining a statistical measure of temperature information for the group non-volatile memory cells using the received temperature information, and storing the determined statistical measure of temperature information for the group of non-volatile memory cells. The stored determined statistical measure of temperature information can be used to optimize or improve one or more storage system operations.

The present invention provides a dynamic contact heat transfer simulation device for rolling heavy-load deformation zone. The device includes a control system, a data acquisition system, a pressure-adjustable fixed cold end, a rotating chuck, a temperature-adjustable heat-conducting rod and an speed-adjustable rotation hot end; the device utilizes the rotating chuck and the speed-adjustable rotating hot end to adjust the rotation speed in real time according to the actual rolling conditions, simulate the working conditions of the actual rolling heavy-load deformation zone, and accurately obtain the dynamic heat transfer coefficient of the rotating contact interface under variable load pressure conditions.
Abstract:
A machine learning device includes: a measured data acquisition unit that acquires a measured data group; a thermal displacement acquisition unit that acquires a thermal displacement actual measured value about a machine element; a storage unit that uses the measured data group acquired by the measured data acquisition unit as input data, uses the thermal displacement actual measured value about the machine element acquired by the thermal displacement acquisition unit as a label, and stores the input data and the label in association with each other as teaching data; and a calculation formula learning unit that performs machine learning based on the measured data group and the thermal displacement actual measured value about the machine element, thereby setting a thermal displacement estimation calculation formula used for calculating the thermal displacement of the machine element based on the measured data group.
Abstract:
Some examples of the disclosure are directed to systems, apparatus, and methods for temperature detection using multiple temperature controllers each having distributed temperature sensors that allow reading multiple sensor outputs in parallel for a wide range of covered area. The temperature controller may also have logic to calculate a local temperature controller maximum temperature, a maximum temperature of all sensors, provide software access to each sensor, easy software enablement through a software interface that allows access earlier than when chip operating system (OS) is booted, and the ability to enable and mask individual sensors or sensor groups through software.
Abstract:
To provide a chromatograph data processing device and the like that can estimate and calculate a retention index or a retention time that would be measured by performing programmed-temperature analysis with any desired rate of temperature increase from known retention indices measured by programmed-temperature analysis, a receiving unit that receives a rate of temperature increase, an RI-r relationship storage unit that stores an RI-r relationship, the RI-r relationship being a relationship between a retention index and a rate of temperature increase and being identified based on a plurality of retention indices with respect to different rates of temperature increase and the corresponding rates of temperature increase, and a retention index calculation unit that calculates an estimated retention index based on the RI-r relationship, the estimated retention index being a retention index corresponding to the received rate of temperature increase received by the receiving unit.
Abstract:
A system for and method of diagnosing operation of a partial filtration filter exhaust aftertreatment system are provided. An upstream exhaust temperature value is determined in an exhaust system upstream of at least one of a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) component and a first partial flow filter (PFF) component. A downstream exhaust temperature value is determined in the exhaust system downstream of a second PFF component positioned downstream of the at least one of the DOC component and the first PFF component. A frequency difference is determined between a first frequency content of the upstream exhaust temperature value and a second frequency content of the downstream exhaust temperature value. If the frequency is less than a predetermined threshold, it is determined that at least one of the DOC component and the PFF component are not present in the exhaust system.

Abstract:
A shape memory material activated device of the present invention uses a shape memory material activator to create a path through a shell wall of the device. The path through the shell wall may release a substance contained in the shell or allow a substance to enter the shell. The path may be created by fracturing, puncturing, exploding, imploding, peeling, tearing, stretching, separating, debonding or otherwise opening the shell. The devices according to the present invention may be used as temperature sensors or warning devices, drug delivery devices, and the like.
