Abstract:
The present invention includes an inner electrode 6 formed inside a dielectric body 4 and a surface electrode 5 formed on a surface of the dielectric body 4, and the surface electrode 5 is formed in a grid pattern with acuminate parts 5a formed inside the grid squares. More specifically, each acuminate part 5a is made of a triangle whose vertices are two arbitrary points on a side of the grid square and an arbitrary point inside the grid square, or a quadrangle whose vertices are a crossing of grid lines, an arbitrary point near a straight line connecting crossings of grid lines in the diagonal positions, and two arbitrary points on sides of the grid square. The present invention provides an ion generating element capable of generating positive ions and negative ions in a stable manner even under a wide range of applied voltage while curbing the increase in noise, and capable of decreasing the generation of ozone, and provides an ion generator, air conditioning apparatus, cleaner and refrigerator using this ion generating element.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a ductwork and cleaning system comprising a fogging unit to supply atomised water droplets to the interior of a food storage cabinet with an ozone generating means coupled to the ductwork, such that ozone, generated by the ozone generating means, is supplied to the interior of the ductwork for circulating therethrough, thereby cleaning the ductwork. The food storage cabinet is coupled to a refrigeration unit to provide refrigerated air for the food storage cabinet, some of the refrigerated air being used as the oxygen-containing gas for the ozone generating means. The ozone generating means is pererably arranged in series in the flow path of the fog of atomised water droplets.
Abstract:
A refrigerator includes a storage compartment and an air sanitation device mounted on a top wall of the storage compartment. The air sanitation device includes: a housing having an upper wall, a lower wall, and a peripheral wall connecting the upper wall to the lower wall; an air channel disposed in the housing and has an air inlet and an air outlet; a fan disposed in the air channel to force air to enter the air channel from the air inlet and leave the air channel from the air outlet; and an air detection device and/or an air purification device disposed in the air channel. The air outlet is disposed on the peripheral wall, and the air channel is configured in such a way that the air is discharged out of the air outlet obliquely downward.
Abstract:
It is an object to provide an electrostatic atomizing apparatus which is simply structured, is easy to assemble, is low in cost, has clogging resistance against foreign matter, can be used for a long time, and is highly reliable, or a home electrical appliance such as a refrigerator, air conditioner, etc. including the electrostatic atomizing apparatus. A discharge electrode formed of foam metal, whereto water that attaches to a surface is supplied by capillary action, a counter electrode provided so as to be opposed to the discharge electrode, and a water supply means that is provided directly above the discharge electrode via a predetermined clearance, supplying water to the discharge electrode or the electrode holding part, are included.
Abstract:
An ozone generator that serves the double functions of providing a light source and providing ozone is disclosed. Particularly, the ozone generator may be located in a generally closed appliance, such as a refrigerator, dishwasher, clothes washer or drier or the like. In addition, a stand-alone embodiment is disclosed that may simply be mounted or placed in storage or other areas such as closets, pantries, laundry rooms, clothes hampers, bed linen storage trunks and others. In some embodiments, timers are used to periodically raise ozone levels to relatively high levels and then allow the levels to fall, sanitizing and deodorizing the areas within which they are located. In other embodiments, advanced oxidation techniques are used by using a pair of ultraviolet tubes, one emitting radiation at a wavelength of 185 nm and the other emitting radiation at 254 nm.
Abstract:
