摘要: Method for operating a gas burner appliance (10), the gas burner appliance com-prising: a combustion chamber (11) in which a defined gas/air mixture is combusted after combustion has been started; a mixing device (25) to provide said gas/air mixture by mixing an air flow provided by an air duct (15) with a gas flow provided by a gas duct (16); a fan (14) to provide the air flow or the flow of the gas/air mixture; a gas safety valve unit (19) assigned to the gas duct to open or close the gas duct; a gas flow modulator (18) or a gas flow regulator (28) assigned to the gas duct to keep a mixing ratio of the defined gas/air mixture constant over the modulation range of the gas burner appliance; an absolute pressure sensor (21) positioned between the gas safety valve unit and the mixing device, wherein the gas burner appliance is operated to determine the air flow resistance of the same by executing the following steps before combustion becomes started: Measuring a first absolute pressure by the absolute pressure sensor (21) when the gas safety valve unit (19) is closed and when the fan (14) is stopped. Measuring a second absolute pressure by the absolute pressure sensor (21) when the gas safety valve unit (19) is closed and when the fan (14) is running. Determining a pressure difference between the first absolute pressure and the second absolute pressure. Determining on basis of the pressure difference the air flow resistance of the gas burner appliance.

摘要: A volatiles consuming eductor system for coated scrap metal furnaces with separate delacquering and melt chambers. Motive gas is forced through an inlet into a mixing chamber in a direction opposite a suction port, creating a Venturi that draws gases from the delaquering chamber through the mixing chamber. The motive gas and the drawn gases mix and are forced through a discharge port, ignited, and injected into the melt chamber to help heat the melt chamber. A computer monitors process conditions and controls a regulator that adjusts the motive gas flow in response to those conditions.

摘要: Systems and methods for a gas train assembly for an automated cooking system are provided. In one embodiment, the gas train assembly includes an electronic controller, a booster, a first burner assembly, and a first mass flow controller. The electronic controller is configured to identify a recipe associated with an order for a food item. The booster is configured to increase the pressure of the gas to a high-pressure value. The first burner assembly is downstream from the booster. The first mass flow controller is interposed between the booster and the first burner assembly. The first mass flow controller receives a first burner setting from the electronic controller. The first burner setting is based on the recipe. The first mass flow controller allows gas to flow through the first mass flow controller and toward the first burner assembly at a first pressure value corresponding to the first burner setting.

摘要: A gas cooktop includes a cooktop body having a burner head which when activated generates a fire for heating cookware placed on the burner head, and a control system which includes a fire detection apparatus installed over the burner head and is aligned with the burner head. The control system further includes a control apparatus receiving a signal of the fire detection apparatus to control the fire of the burner head. The control apparatus determines, depending on whether the fire detection apparatus detects the fire of the burner head, whether cookware is placed on the burner head. By using such a gas cooktop including the control system, the gas cooktop automatically adjusts the fire to a minimum after a user removes a cookware, thus reducing fume in a kitchen and reducing gas consumption.

摘要: A burner apparatus and process are described. The burner apparatus includes an inlet chamber in communication with a combustion chamber. A primary conduit delivers fuel gas to the combustion chamber. Each of a plurality of primary tips is located in the throat of the burner tile. Each of a plurality of cavities is disposed on a downstream wall of the burner tile and stabilize the flame. The primary tips have an end port and a lateral port. A secondary conduit provides fuel gas to a plurality of secondary tips. In a passive control mode, the fuel gas to the primary tips and secondary tips is a mixed gas comprising flue gas and fuel gas. In an active mode, valves are provided to proportion the amount of fuel gas fed to the primary tips and the amount of flue gas provided to the secondary tips.

摘要: System involved with but not limited to an apparatus including a temperature control system capable of quickly heating a grill to a precise and consistent temperature using a plurality of gas burners and associated electronic control method thereof. In an exemplary non-limiting application, the system uses a solenoid valve to control flow to a plurality of motorized modulating valves, which in turn modulate gas flow to a gas burner. The apparatus and method of use thereof is capable of producing precise cooking temperatures by adjusting the volume of gas flow to the burners via motorized modulating valves, allowing for more precise and consistent cooking temperatures than systems utilizing valves featuring only a limited number of positions, such as open or closed, or high flow or low flow.
