    摘要: An automotive lamp module includes a laser diode, a substrate with the laser diode on the top, a lower heat sink coupled to the bottom of the substrate, an upper heat sink coupled to the top of the substrate and having a light channel disposed through the upper heat sink and in which the laser diode is inserted, and a phosphor disposed in the light channel. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a simple configuration and a compact size and to effectively dissipate heat generated from the laser diode.

A sectional shape of a reflecting surface of the first auxiliary reflector taken along a vertical plane that is parallel to the optical axis is a shape of a parabola having an axis line downwardly extending in the forward direction at a predetermined downward inclination angle. A sectional shape of a reflecting surface of each of the second auxiliary reflectors taken along the vertical plane has a shape of a substantially straight line downwardly extending in the forward direction at a downward inclination angle which is smaller than the predetermined downward inclination angle.

    摘要: Headlight for a motor vehicle comprising a reflector and a light source (S) running transversely to the optical axis (Y—Y) of the reflector and placed near the focal point of the reflector. The transverse light source (S) is placed near the internal focal point (Fi) of an ellipsoidal reflector (R1). The wall of the ellipsoidal reflector has a cutout (1) situated on one side of the plane passing through the geometric axis of the light source (S) and parallel to the optical axis (Y—Y) of the ellipsoidal reflector. A lens (2) with an optical axis parallel to or coincident with that of the ellipsoidal reflector (R1) is placed in front of this reflector, the focal point (3) of the lens being close to the external focal point (Fe) of the ellipsoidal reflector. A verticalized reflector (R2) is arranged on the opposite side of the cutout (1) to the most-part of the ellipsoidal reflector (R1), this verticalized reflector (R2) being designed to produce, from the source (S) housed in the ellipsoidal reflector, a long-range beam which is not intercepted by the lens, the ellipsoidal reflector giving a wide beam of shorter range.

    摘要: A motor vehicle headlight has a light source cooperating with a reflector to produce a light beam. The reflector has an active base region immediately behind the light source, and is arranged to reflect the radiation from the source to produce a beam of given photometry. The said base region includes, in at least one zone from which light would, in the absence of the invention, be reflected back to the close vicinity of the light source, a corrected reflective surface which produces corrected radiation that remains spaced away from the vicinity of the source without disturbing the photometry. Reflection back to the source, and consequently the danger of overheating the source and/or production of parasitic images, are eliminated.
