Abstract: A front face lighting assembly configured to be fitted in a vehicle is disclosed. The front face lighting assembly includes a screen which comprises at least one passage via which an air flow is able to pass through the screen, a shut-off device configured to control circulation of the air flow through the passage, a lever which controls at least the positions of the flap, and at least one lighting device borne by the lever and distinct from the flap. The shut-off device includes at least one flap adapted to take up a first position in which the flap shuts off the passage and a second position in which the flap opens the passage.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a vehicle approach notification device and a picking truck. The vehicle approach notification device includes a first illumination portion provided on a cab capable of elevation; a second and a third illumination portion provided on a vehicle body incapable of elevation; and a control unit that (1) turns on the first illumination portion and off other illumination portions when a travel state of the vehicle body is backward travel and an elevation position is lower than a predetermined threshold value; (2) turns on the second illumination portion and off other illumination portions when the travel state is backward travel and the elevation position is equal to or higher than the threshold value; (3) turns on the third illumination portion and off other illumination portions when the travel state of vehicle is forward travel; and (4) turns off all illumination portions when the travel state is travel stop.

Abstract: When light is off, a transparent appearance is obtained, while when the light is on, light is seen through a transparent spot. The present invention includes a light source portion and a reflective portion. The light source portion emits light. The light source portion is disposed at a position shifted with respect to an emitting direction of emitted light from the reflective portion. The reflective portion reflects the light from the light source portion and emits it in a predetermined direction. The reflective portion is constituted by a transparent member with a refractive index at least in a visible light area larger than 1. As a result, in the present invention, the transparent appearance is obtained when the light is off, while the light is seen through the transparent spot when the light is on.

Abstract: A lighting system enables a lighting pattern to be displayed on a vehicle when the vehicle is in motion. A lighting pattern may include lights that fluctuate (with respect to luminosity) or lights that stay, that is, are solid, at the same luminosity. The length of time that a light, such as an LED lamp, is powered on may vary. Similarly, the amount of time between two adjacent lights are powered off and powered on may also vary. As such, the lighting sequence is flexible and can be customized so that all lights are not on for the same length of time and the time between two lights being powered may vary. A vehicle front alert system allows for improved perception of speed of an approaching vehicle, human, or object.

Abstract: A method and a system for producing a luminescent 3D radar-module cover for a radiator grille of a motor vehicle. A three-dimensional structure including an optical conductor is produced from a light-dispersing first plastic material in separate method steps using a first injection mold. The three-dimensional structure is metallized and metal-coated. A subsequent separation of the gating takes place. A cover element is produced from a second plastic material using a second injection mold, which at least partially covers the metallized three-dimensional structure in a planar manner in a position of use. A contour of the three-dimensional structure is left free. The gating is subsequently severed. The three-dimensional structure is metallized together with the cover element disposed thereon and is embedded in a third plastic material with the aid of a third injection mold while molding a mount for a radar module and fastening points on the molded component.

Abstract: A whisker illumination apparatus is for attachment to a plow blade with one such apparatus being secured to opposite sides of the plow blade for marking the outer extremities of the plow blade. Each such apparatus includes an elongated and translucent or transparent tubular member having top and bottom ends, and a mounting piece secured to the bottom end of the elongated and translucent or transparent tubular member, and for mounting from a mounting surface of the snow plow blade so that the elongated tubular member is disposed in a substantially vertical position. The apparatus also includes an elongated light string that extends within the elongated tubular member between the top and bottom ends thereof, a source of electrical energy for the elongated light string, and conductor wiring for connecting the source of electrical energy to the elongated light string.
