    Abstract: A compressor includes a cylinder configured to form a compressed space of the refrigerant and having a cylindrical shape, a piston configured to reciprocate axially in the cylinder and comprising a guide portion having a cylindrical shape and a head portion disposed in front of the guide portion, an intake valve disposed at a front of the head portion, a fixing member disposed outside the piston, a rod comprising one end disposed at the head portion and configured to extend axially, a first elastic member connected to the fixing member and other side of the rod, a second elastic member disposed to be spaced apart from a rear of the first elastic member and connected to the fixing member and the other side of the rod, and a first spacer insert-injected with the first elastic member and the second elastic member.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides an open-faced piston with a circumferential groove into which a piston ring assembly is arranged. Openings at the bottom of the circumferential groove and between a front land of the open-faced piston and the piston face are provided. The openings are arranged to allow for a combustion reaction to propagate through the volume defined between the bottom of the piston ring assembly and the piston face such that at least a portion of an air and fuel mixture located in that volume is reacted.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses an energy-saving and emission-reducing multistage throttling expansion method for engine. In a crevice passage disposed between the combustion chamber and the crankcase, a multistage throttling is disposed for converting pressure energy of the high-pressure blow-by gas into kinetic energy and momentum, and a multistage expansion is disposed for expanding and dissipating the incoming kinetic energy and momentum of the high-velocity blow-by gas into heat, so that to realize the multistage throttling and expansion method, reduce the leaking of the unburned fuel-air mixture and the burned gas, the hydrocarbon emissions hidden in the intra-cylinder carbon deposition and exhaust gas emissions of the engine, and also improve the engine efficiency and the overall performance of the engine.

    Abstract: A piston assembly having a piston member and a connecting rod. The piston member has a crown portion and a lower portion bonded together with a cooling gallery formed between them. The connecting rod has a ball end which is positioned in a socket in the piston member. In one embodiment, the ball end can have two flat surfaces and be held in position by C-clips. In another embodiment, the ball end is cylindrically shaped and the socket has a corresponding shape.

    Abstract: A power cylinder system for a reciprocating engine includes a piston configured to move within a cylinder. The system includes a top-most groove extending circumferentially about the piston beneath a top land of the piston and configured to support a top ring having an inner circumferential face. A space is defined between a portion of the top-most groove and the inner circumferential face of the top ring while the top ring is positioned within top-most groove, and one or more channels formed in the top land are configured to enable transfer of combustion gases to the space. The system also includes a bottom-most groove extending circumferentially about the piston and spaced apart from the top-most groove along an axial axis of the piston, and the bottom groove is configured to support a bottom ring and is devoid of oil drains.
