    摘要: An improper gear shift timing indicator system for a manual transmission vehicle. The system includes a gear position detector for detecting gear position information and a control unit in communication with the gear position detector. The control unit is configured to detect a gear shift event based on a change in the gear position information. The control unit measures elapsed time during the gear shift event and compares the elapsed time with a threshold value, which is based on various vehicle operating parameters and the given gear shift event. A signal system is in communication with the control unit and the control unit causes the signal system to provide a signal to a driver of the vehicle when the elapsed time of the gear shift event is less than the threshold value.

In the case where the P-ECU has not received the IG signal at the time when the initial drive control is completed, the P-ECU temporarily keeps the actuator in a state where the initial drive control is completed. In the case where the P-ECU receives the IG signal in the period from completion of the initial drive control to the time when a predetermined time T2 has elapsed since completion of the initial drive control, the P-ECU executes P wall press control when the P-ECU receives the IG signal.

    摘要: A torque control device is provided to prevent slipping of a belt of a belt type continuously variable transmission. The torque control device calculates a positive input torque inputted from an engine to a primary pulley, and calculates a negative input torque inputted from a drive wheel to the primary pulley based on the positive input torque and a speed ratio of a continuously variable section. The torque control device then restricts an output torque from the engine so that the total torque can be lower than or equal to the torque capacity of the belt when the vehicle is in a running state in which the negative input torque is likely to occur and the total torque which is the sum of the positive input torque and the negative input torque exceeds the torque capacity.
