    摘要: When power is transmitted from a pulley (32) of an engine (E) to a receiving member (35) of a compressor, a power transmitting arm (42) is elastically deformed by force generated by transmission torque. The power transmitting arm (42) thus permits an engaging recess (43) to change its position with respect to the receiving member (35). Accordingly, the pulley (32) and the receiving member (35) are permitted to rotate relative to each other in a predetermined angular range with a roller (39) sliding in the engaging recess (43) while rolling in the engaging recess (43) in a contact state.

    摘要: An input-side rotary member 20, including an input gear 7, and an output-side rotary member 19, including a torque cam 1 fixedly mounted on an output shaft 12, are provided on the same axis of rotation. The input-side rotary member 20 is provided with an input cage 3 having a plurality of radially extending pockets 30 and balls 9 movably accommodated within the respective pockets 30. The torque cam 1 is provided with a generally annular cam groove 31 in which the balls 9 move rollingly, which groove 31 is of a shape having a distance from the axis of rotation that varies continuously. A presser member 2 is provided with a pressing face 2a by which the balls 9 are urged by a spring element 4. In this way, the input rotation of, for example, an engine can be reduced and then transmitted to a driven device such as an engine auxiliary equipment 102 with respect to the boundary set by a preset torque value.

    摘要: A drive of a drill chuck having a torque coupling which can be placed on a drive shaft of a motor via a base element on a side opposite of chuck jaws. A torque coupling having meshing ball bearing collars is inserted between the base element and the chuck jaws. A spring-loaded driven end of the torque coupling is connected with the base element and a take-off end of the torque coupling is connected with a jaw housing which guides the chuck jaws, each being fixed against relative rotation. A ring abutment for the spring-loaded driven end is fixed on the base element. A cylindrical sleeve projects from the ring abutment in a direction toward the chuck jaws, which are rotationally movable. The cylindrical sleeve overlaps a fitted cylindrical pipe which is positioned on the jaw housing and encloses the torque coupling.

    摘要: An engaging projection is engaged with an engaging recess to connect a pulley and a receiving member to each other so that power is transmitted. The engaging recess deforms with respect to the pulley and the receiving member. During the power transmission between the pulley and the receiving member, an elastic member permits engaging recess to deform, thereby enabling the pulley to rotate relative to the receiving member in a predetermined angular range. In this state, the engaging projection normally abuts against a sliding surface of the engaging recess at a neutral position, and the contact position of the engaging projection and the engaging recess separates from the neutral position in accordance with the increase of the load on the receiving member. As the contact position separates from the neutral position, the inclination angle of the sliding surface with respect to the circumferential direction of the rotary bodies gradually increases.

    摘要: A power transmission mechanism includes a first rotary body having an engagement recess, and a second rotary body, which is coaxial to the first rotary body, and an engagement projection. The position of at least one of the engagement recess and the engagement projection changes with respect to the associated rotary body. An elastic member elastically deforms in accordance with force based on a transmission torque during power transmission between the first rotary body and the second rotary body. The elastic deformation of the elastic member permits the position of at least one of the engagement recess and the engagement projection to be changed. Sliding of the engagement projection in the engagement recess permits relative rotation of the rotary bodies within a predetermined angle range.

    摘要: An over-running clutch includes an outer race and an inner race defining a gap therebetween. A plurality of rolling elements are positioned between the inner and outer races. A retainer interconnects the rolling elements. A first biasing element biases the retainer to hold the rolling elements such that the inner and outer races are free to rotate relative to one another. An actuator selectively forces the rolling elements to a position where the rolling elements engage and wedge between the inner and outer races, thereby locking the clutch. A sensor is adapted to detect the engagement of the clutch and to send a corresponding signal.
