Abstract: In a coasting control process, an ECU increases line pressure PL of a hydraulic path to predetermined pressure P1 such that discharge pressure of an MOP becomes higher than that before a C1 clutch is disengaged at timing when an executing condition of coasting control is satisfied (time t=t1). According to such coasting control process, driving torque of the MOP increases, so that deceleration (deceleration G) caused by driving of the MOP by a drive wheel becomes larger than that in conventional coasting control in which the discharge pressure of the MOP is not increased. As a result, it is possible to inhibit a driver from feeling discomfort due to free-running feeling generated during the coasting control.

Abstract: An electric oil pump for automobile transmission clutch engagement includes: a temperature sensor that measures a temperature of oil supplied to an oil supply destination relating to clutch engagement of an automobile transmission; an oil pump drive motor; a current determination part that determines a current value output to the oil pump drive motor to a predetermined current value determined such that the oil pump drive motor is capable of being driven without stopping in a case where the temperature is equal to or less than a predetermined temperature at which a torque of the oil pump drive motor becomes smaller than a load of the oil pump drive motor; and an oil pump that supplies oil to the oil supply destination by the oil pump drive motor being driven based on the determined current value.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for actuating a clutch of a manual transmission of a vehicle comprising. An automatic emergency braking (AEB) system is configured to automatically initiate an AEB event and a brake controller is configured to automatically actuate a braking system of the vehicle. A powertrain controller in is configured to monitor vehicle parameters and determine when an engine of the vehicle is nearing stall. A clutch control module is configured to actuate a clutch hydraulic master cylinder and actuate the clutch. A vehicle sensor network is configured to detect objects surrounding the vehicle. The AEB system is configured to initiate the AEB event based on detected objects surrounding the vehicle and, when the AEB event is initiated, instruct the brake controller to automatically actuate the braking system and instruct the clutch control module to actuate the clutch when the vehicle is nearing stall

Abstract: An assembly for driving a friction clutch, having a hydraulically driveable stepped piston, with: a pump driving the stepped piston, which has a working piston moveably arranged in a working chamber that divides it into first and auxiliary working chambers. The working piston is mechanically connected to an auxiliary working piston and hydraulically driveable via a second working chamber. A control valve is arranged between the stepped piston and pump. A first line path leads from the pump to the second working chamber, and a second line path leads from the pump to the first working chamber. The stepped piston has a working tappet which acts on the friction clutch. The first and second line paths are connected via a first line section of the supply line and a multi-port control valve, which has two valve positions, and the first line section is at least partially blocked in one valve position.
