摘要: A compressor includes a housing, and an anticorrosive coating covering a surface of the housing. The anticorrosive coating includes a base layer applied on the surface of the housing, and a surface layer applied on the base layer. Both the base layer and the surface layer are organic coatings. Thus, the housing of the compressor is effectively separated from the external environment by means of the two organic coatings, so as to ensure that the compressor is not corroded; moreover, the anticorrosive coating does not contain a metal coating, thereby preventing the problem of the compressor being severely corroded due to an exposed metal coating.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a rotor blade assembly for a wind turbine. The rotor blade assembly includes a rotor blade having surfaces defining a pressure side, a suction side, a leading edge, and a trailing edge extending between a blade tip and a blade root. Further, the rotor blade assembly includes a flexible extension having a first end and a second end. More specifically, the first end is mounted to a surface of the rotor blade and the second end is free. As such, during operation of the wind turbine, the flexible extension passively adjusts with a changing angle of attack of the rotor blade, thereby reducing variations in blade loading.

摘要: A component with a coating, wherein the component is a part of a wind turbine, the component is in contact with a lubricant and the lubricant comprises atomic hydrogen, is provided. The coating at least partly covers a surface of the component. The coating reduces diffusion of the atomic hydrogen into the component by a means of inducing a recombination of the atomic hydrogen to hydrogen gas. A method of reducing diffusion of atomic hydrogen into a component of a wind turbine by using such a coating is also provided.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a method of manufacturing a rotor blade for a wind turbine. The method includes providing a blade mold of the rotor blade. Another step includes placing an outer skin layer in the blade mold. The method also includes placing one or more structural inserts in the blade mold atop the outer skin layer as a function of a load of the rotor blade. Further, each of the structural inserts includes a plurality of cells arranged in a predetermined pattern. Further, the cells have varying cell sizes. The method also includes placing an inner skin layer atop the one or more structural inserts and securing the outer skin layer, the one or more structural inserts, and the inner skin layer together to form the rotor blade.

摘要: An additive printing device and a method for using the same to manufacture a tower structure of a wind turbine is provided. The additive printing device includes a vertical support structure, a support ring suspended from the vertical support structure, and a printer head movably coupled to the support ring for selectively depositing cementitious material. A drive mechanism, such as a rack and pinion, moves the printer head around the support ring while selectively depositing cementitious material. The vertical support structure may be raised and/or the relative position between the vertical support structure and the printer head may be adjusted to raise the printer head to print subsequent layers. This process may be repeated to print the tower structure layer-by-layer from the ground up.

摘要: In a general aspect, a method is presented for manufacturing support structures for offshore wind turbines. In some implementations, the method includes constructing a plurality of modular sections that assemble to define the support structure. One or more of the plurality of modular sections are configured to anchor to an underwater floor. At least one of the plurality of modular sections is constructed by operations that include forming a wall along a perimeter to bound a volume, filling the volume with a castable material, and hardening the castable material. In some instances, forming the wall includes depositing layers of printable material successively on top of each other. The method also includes joining the plurality of modular sections to assemble the support structure.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to methods for manufacturing wind turbine rotor blades and components thereof, e.g. using 3D printing. In one embodiment, the method includes forming a rotor blade structure having a first surface and an opposing, second surface, the first and second surfaces being substantially flat. Another step includes printing a leading edge segment of the rotor blade onto the first surface, wherein heat from the printing bonds the leading edge segment to the first surface. The method also includes rotating the rotor blade structure having the leading edge segment attached thereto. A further step includes printing a trailing edge segment of the rotor blade onto the second surface, wherein heat from the printing bonds the trailing edge segment to the second surface. Another step includes securing one or more fiber-reinforced outer skins to the leading and trailing edge segments so as to complete the rotor blade.
