摘要: Described is a human-ear-wearable apparatus having a housing, which contains electronic and auditory components for conveying sound into a human hear. An inflatable mounting system is configured to secure the housing to the human ear. The mounting system includes an elastomeric bladder configured to inflate into a customizable counterpart shape of portions of the user's Concha and Meatus areas of a particular user's ear. A pump, coupled to the housing, is configured to pass air through an opening in the housing to the elastomeric bladder. Inflation of the bladder, via the pump, is controllable by a user to form a customized fit of the mounting system's bladder to the Concha and Meatus areas of the user's ear. One or more speakers may be encased in the elastomeric bladder. For example, a dual-hybrid speaker arrangement is described with a cone speaker and a balanced-armature driver embedded in the bladder.

The nozzle provides a pathway from the cavity to a surface of the heat sink. The heat sink also includes a membrane attached to the cavity and an actuator of the membrane, causing the membrane to oscillate. The oscillation of the membrane causes inflow and outflow of a medium through the nozzle.

摘要: A device for sensing pressure using two flexible diaphragms in which an additional element is added to promote rolling contact of the diaphragm. One embodiment aligns the flexible diaphragms in a non-parallel alignment such that deflection of one flexible diaphragm will roll with respect to the other to provide increased linear capacitive response. In another embodiment a non-conductive spacing element is positioned between the diaphragms to permit rolling contact upon displacement of a diaphragms. These devices are capacitive pressure gauges. One additional embodiment includes a cantilever hinge and rigid polymer disc to convert one diaphragm into a linearly deflecting diaphragm.

摘要: The present invention relates to an active micro cooler comprising: an evaporator which, directly attached to a heat source, vaporizes refrigerant; a compressor which inhales and compresses vaporized refrigerant gas; a condenser which condenses compressed refrigerant gas for condensed refrigerant to release heat; a conduit which directs condensed refrigerant to the evaporator; and a expansion valve which, mounted on the conduit, expands condensed refrigerant. The evaporator and the condenser each comprises a heat transfer enhancement device which is mounted on a plate element having walls on the circumference of the element and several channel connectors for transmitting refrigerant. The active micro cooler according to the present invention has a comparatively simple structure and has a greater cooling capacity than a hand cooler.

摘要: A diaphragm pump for a seat adjusting device comprises a diaphragm and a valve member which define a pump chamber therebetween. An inlet valve and an outlet valve are formed on the valve member. A pressure chamber is in fluid communication with the outlet valve and receives fluid discharged from the pump chamber via the outlet valve. One of the diaphragm and the valve member comprises a valve membrane of a pressure relief valve integrated in the pump. The valve membrane is integrally formed with the one of the diaphragm and the valve member. The valve membrane is moveable between a first configuration in which the valve membrane closes a pressure relief channel and a second configuration in which the valve membrane opens the pressure relief channel to allow fluid to be discharged from the pressure chamber.
