    摘要: An improved manifold and valve cartridges suitable for high power (over 600 hp) reciprocating pumps for water blast or jet applications are disclosed. In one aspect, the disclosed valve cartridges are compact and mounted axially along a seat member that has a central bore in addition to suction and discharge seats. The seat member can also be provided a plurality of radially arranged bores for allowing suction flow to the pump. A spool valve assembly can be mounted through the seat member bore, and can include a valve spool, a spherical suction valve member, a compression spring, and compression-locked rings. The spool valve can include a closed flanged end that engages with the seat member discharge seat. In operation, the compression spring continuously pushes the spool valve closed flanged end against the discharge seat and pushes the suction valve member against the suction seat to retain a normally closed position.

    摘要: A positive-displacement reciprocating compressor comprising a “non-conventional” crank mechanism which eliminates the amount of frictional force between the wall of the piston and the wall of the cylinder, whose characteristic feature is to have a planet (20) made of sintered material, with self-lubrication properties, allowing to eliminate bushings or similar additional elements. An economical and structurally simple lubrication system, which preferably comprises a classical link rod/crank mechanism, utilizes the mechanical energy provided by the drive shaft of the compressor and sends the lubricant (oil) in a precise manner to the surfaces that need to be lubricated. This oil is easily retained by the very small grains of the sintered material. Moreover, a valve system based on a single plate simplifies the structure of the cylinder unit (30).

    摘要: A high pressure fluid pump 10 supplies fluids to a water blasting or cutting gun 14. The pump 10 is preferably of the in-line type, wherein both an inlet check valve 60 and a discharge check valve 62 move linearly along the axis 40 of the plunger 30 during a complete pumping cycle. A plurality of compression rods 42 are spaced circumferentially about a plunger housing 24, and press the plunger housing into sealing engagement with a suction valve seat 56, press the suction valve seat into sealing engagement with a pump discharge housing 36, press the pump discharge housing into sealing engagement with a discharge end plate 38. Seal ring 66 is provided for sealing between a front planar face 114 of the suction valve seat and a rear planar face 112 of the plunger housing. A weep path 116 extends radially outward from the seal ring 66 to release fluids which pass by the compressible seal ring. Plunger housing 24 is provided with a uniform diameter bore 106 extending axially between the plunger seal 54 and the rear planar face 112. A selected bearing material bushing 82 is provided within the plunger housing 24, and a high temperature seal ring 80 is spaced radially outward from a front portion of the bushing to prevent the bushing from becoming seized to the plunger housing. One or more rod front ends 140 may be interconnected with a corresponding compression rod 42 for attaching a support rod 46 thereto during a pump service operation. An alignment connector 28 structurally interconnects a pump rod 26 and a plunger 30, and further reduces the time and expense of pump maintenance.

    摘要: A monoblock gas compressor for use in compressing gas having a supply pressure greater than the atmospheric pressure is provided. The compressor includes a compressor head mounted to a cylinder block such that a plurality of valve receiving bores formed in the cylinder head are aligned with a bank of cylinders of the cylinder block. A compressor valve is disposed in the valve receiving bores and secured therein with a valve retainer. The valve retainer defines a gas inflow path to the compressor valve and a gas discharge path away from the compressor valve. The compressor head has a plurality of gas inlets extending from a side of the compressor head and intersecting a corresponding one of the gas inflow paths, thereby enabling the compressor head to safely receive supply gas at a pressure substantially greater than atmospheric pressure.
