    摘要: A fuel pump assembly comprises a plunger arranged to reciprocate within a plunger bore via a drive shaft, to perform a pumping cycle comprising a pumping stroke and a return stroke, the pumping stroke comprising movement of the plunger from a bottom dead centre (BDC) position to a top dead centre (TDC) position, and the return stroke comprising movement of the plunger from the TDC position to the BDC position. The fuel pump assembly comprises a spring assembly including a return spring that is cooperable, at a first end, with a first member coupled to the plunger and movable at a first speed dependent on the speed of rotation of the drive shaft and, at a second end, with a second member which is movable at a damped speed relative to the first speed.

    摘要: A device for injecting fuel into the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine with at least one injector includes an injector body equipped with a high-pressure accumulator, a nozzle needle axially displaceably guided in the injector and surrounded by a nozzle chamber, a high-pressure line connecting the high-pressure accumulator to the nozzle chamber, and a resonator line arranged in parallel with the high-pressure line and communicating with the nozzle chamber and opening into the high-pressure accumulator via a resonator throttle. The resonator line and the high-pressure line, at least in their sections adjacent the high-pressure accumulator, are formed in a retaining body which, on its end face, is screwed into the accumulator pipe forming the high-pressure accumulator.

Said hydraulic damper (19) has a piston (21) arranged in a cylinder (20), which piston can be moved against the force of a compression spring (23) and the vapor pressure present in a compression-spring chamber (22) accommodating the compression spring.

    摘要: A pulsation damper is provided between and in series with a low pressure fuel system pipe and a high pressure pump of a fuel supply system. During startup of an engine, low pressure fuel supplied via the low pressure fuel system pipe is injected from an intake passage fuel injector. When the fuel pressure is equal to or less than a fuel pressure at which good startability can be maintained, the pulsation damper closes off communication between the high pressure fuel system pipe and the low pressure fuel system pipe using the spring force of a spring.

    摘要: A pulsation reducing system for a fuel line of an internal combustion engine, especially for an automotive engine equipped with an electronic fuel injection system is provided. The system comprises a fuel delivery rail, a fuel tank, and a longitudinal main fuel pipe. A first flexible tube is arranged between the fuel delivery rail and the main fuel pipe. A second flexible tube is arranged between the main fuel pipe and the fuel tank. A small-ID tubular portion is arranged within the first tube or near the connecting portion of the first tube. The inside diameter of the small-ID tubular portion is smaller than that of said main fuel pipe. The length of the small-ID tubular portion is set between 10 to 50 times of the inside diameter of the small-ID tubular portion itself. Thus, standing waves and resultant pressure pulsations caused by the fuel delivery rail are reduced by the small-ID tubular portion.
