    Abstract: A ladder with bracing is provided. In one embodiment, the ladder may include a first rail assembly comprising a pair of inner rails and a pair of outer rails, the pair of inner rails being slidably disposed in a upper portion of pair of outer rails, wherein a rear surface of each of the pair of outer rails lies in a common plane. A first plurality of rungs may be coupled between the pair of inner rails, and a second plurality of rungs coupled between the pair of outer rails. A brace may extend between and be coupled to the pair of outer rails, wherein the brace includes a first ramped surface, the first ramped surface having a first portion spaced away from the common plane, a second portion immediately adjacent the common plane, and a transition portion extending between the first portion and the second portion.

    Abstract: Ladders, ladder components, adjustment mechanisms and related methods are provided herein. In one embodiment, a ladder may include an adjustment mechanism for adjusting, for example, a leveler, a stabilizer, or any two relatively displaceable components of the ladder. The adjustment mechanism may include an actuating mechanism having a first structure and a second structure slidably disposed adjacent the first structure, the second structure having a plurality of engagement surfaces. A body is coupled with the first structure. At least two engagement pins are slidably displaceable relative to the body, wherein the plurality of engagement surfaces and the at least two engagement pins are arranged such that only a single engagement pin of the at least two engagement pins is in abutting engagement with an engagement surface of the plurality of engagement surfaces at one time. At least one biasing member is configured to bias the at least two engagement pins towards engagement with the engagement surfaces.

    Abstract: A locking mechanism for selectively securing and unsecuring the linkage of individual ladder sections of a telescopic ladder. The locking mechanism is shifted into a locked position by pivoting a lever toward a first rotational trajectory, urging a track follower in a first direction along a guiding track, and linearly displacing at least one securing rod into an aperture through multiple ladder sections, securing the linkage of the ladder sections. A lever-securing mechanism form-fittingly secures the lever within a bridge element of the locking mechanism when in a locked position. The locking mechanism is shifted into an unlocked position by pivoting the lever toward a second rotational trajectory opposite the first rotational trajectory, urging the track follower in an opposite direction along the guiding track, and linearly displacing the securing rods out from the aperture through the multiple ladder sections, unsecuring the linkage of the ladder sections.
