    摘要： In this device, the frame has, facing a rounded edge of the leaf B, an inclined surface, the distance of which from the frame A increases from the inside to the outside and which is connected to the internal surface of a covering strip, this strip being positioned parallel to the wall of the frame and at least in front of the rounded edge of the leaf B in order to prevent any access into the external gap between leaf B and frame A, while each of the hinge plates comprises, firstly, a male element fitting into a housing in the leaf, so as to be aligned therewith, and, secondly, a female element composed of: a cylindrical hinge body fitting into the male element so as to come into alignment with the rounded part; and a fastening base fitting into a housing recessed into the inclined surface of the frame so as to come into alignment with this surface.

    摘要： A safety device for center pivot doors which prevents the crushing of fingers between the door and the door frame comprises a rigid elongate barrier member secured on one or both sides of the door which sweeps the zone between the door and the frame as the door pivots, and which is shaped substantially to fill the gap between door and frame when the door is fully opened. The barrier member is preferably adjustable by being made in two interengageable parts. The gap between door and frame can be further reduced by providing elongate shielding strips secured to the frame, one on each side of the door.

    摘要： A finger guard assembly is structured for easy field retrofitting to a standard center-pivot door without removing the door from the doorway. The assembly includes a pair of extruded jamb guard members flush mounted on a doorway jamb and a pair of extruded door guard members flush mounted on the opposite parallel surfaces of the door stile. The jamb guard members and door guard members are shaped and positioned to cooperatively provide a narrow gap for preventing the entry of fingers therebetween. The several guard members are temporarily supported in position on the jamb and door by double faced adhesive tape preparatory to final mounting.

    摘要： A snap-on safety guard for door gaps preferably includes a jamb split tube and a cover plate. The jamb split tube includes a lengthwise gap. A curved jamb device is retained in a kerf slot of a kerf-style door frame. A molding lip extends inward from one end of the curved jamb device and a kerf lip extends inward from an opposing end thereof. A U-shaped clip is retained in a kerf slot of a kerf-style door frame. The U-shaped clip includes a kerf base, an inner kerf lip and an outer kerf lip. An L-shaped clip is retained in a kerf slot of a kerf-style door. The cover plate preferably includes a flat plate with at least one living hinge formed parallel with a length of the cover plate. An inner surface of the cover plate is attached to one of the jamb tubes.
