摘要： A hinge or an item of furniture or a domestic appliance has a first hinge part and a second hinge part, which are interconnected via a lever mechanism having seven articulation pins and levers articulated thereon. The first hinge part has a first connecting piece and the second hinge part has a second connecting piece which are arranged parallel and spaced apart in a closed position of the hinge; and a cover element at least partially covers the lever mechanism on at least three sides in order to make it impossible to reach between the levers of the lever mechanism. A plurality of cover plates are formed integrally with the cover element, and the cover plates arranged on one side of the lever mechanism can be partially overlappingly pivoted relative to one another when the hinge is pivoted. The possibility of reaching into the lever mechanism is thereby prevented.

摘要： The invention relates to a hinge for a door or a window, comprising: —a frame hinge part (1), which can be mounted on a frame and which has a mounting portion (2) and a cylindrical receiving bush (3); —a leaf hinge part (4), which can be mounted on the leaf and which has a mounting portion (5) and a hinge strap (6); and—a shaft element (7), which articulatedly connects the two hinge parts (1, 4) arranged one over the other in the vertical direction and which has a shaft pin portion (8) insertable into the receiving bush (3) and a portion located at the opposite end with a socket (10) for the hinge strap (6); wherein the hinge strap (6) can be moved within the socket (10) in the shaft element (7) perpendicularly to the direction of the longitudinal axis by means of an adjustment device (11) In the socket (10), each of at least one clamping piece (12), preferably two clamping pieces (12), is connected to the shaft element (7) by means of an associated connecting element (13). Each clamping piece (12) has an undercut extending perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the shaft element (7), and each undercut engages with an associated groove (14) in the hinge strap (6), the groove being undercut inversely correspondingly. Each clamping piece (12) can be moved between a clamping position and a release position by means of the connecting element (13).

The housing includes a cover, a side wall, and a rear wall that define an interior space enclosed within the housing. The interior space receives the torque element inside the housing. The cover defines a first aperture, and the rear wall defines a second aperture, the first aperture and the second aperture aligned with a pivot axis of the shaft. The shaft extends through at least the first aperture, the interior space, and the second aperture. The shaft is separate from, and configured to be mounted to, the first component. The housing is separate from, and configured to be mounted to, the second component.

摘要： Cable assemblies for providing electrical communication between hinged sections of an electronic device are described. The cable assemblies can include a cover that covers one or more cables that run through a hinge region of the electronic device. The cable and cover can be drawn over a mandrel of the hinge region. The cover and the portions of the mandrel can be visible to a user at the hinge region of the electronic device. The cover can be sufficiently rigid to guide a path of the cable and protect the cable from bending beyond a prescribed angle during rotation of the electronic device at the hinge region. The cover can also be sufficiently rigid to prevent ceasing or folding of the cover and the cable during rotation of the electronic device at the hinge region.
