摘要： Disclosed is a panel section intended for assembly with other equivalent panel sections as a section door. The panel section includes two sheets thermoformed together to define a panel, an attachment tab, a living hinge unitarily formed between the panel and the attachment tab, a receiver portion configured to receive the attachment tab of an equivalent panel section when assembled as a sectional door, a first bearing surface and a second bearing surface, where the second bearing surface is configured to bear against the first bearing surface on the equivalent panel section when assembled as a sectional door. Also disclosed are a method of thermoforming the disclosed panel section and a method of assembling the disclosed sectional door.

The panels are pivotally interconnected with each other and are provided with brush assemblies at opposite ends for engagement with a vertically extending track. The sides (76) are angularly interconnected with one another to form a plurality of angular engaging faces (77) at the junction of the sides (76) and also to form a hollow portion inside the drive wheel (66). A drive bracket (65) rotatably supports the drive wheel (66), the drive bracket (65) with the drive wheel (66) supported therein, being mounted in the support enclosure (16) adjacent to the track members (17). A counterbalance (67) is disposed in the hollow portion of the drive wheel (66). 摘要： A deck structure is assembled of a plurality of modular panels including one or more hinged, openable access panels. The panels, comprised of extruded deck planks and framing channels are interconnected at edges. At each access panel a gear hinge connects the panel with the adjacent fixed panel, through the width of the panels. Hinge gears are integrally formed on edges of a hinged plank and a fixed plank of the adjacent hinged and fixed panels, with a keeper member holding the gears enmeshed during opening and closing of the panel. In a preferred embodiment a gas tight seal is formed when the access panel is closed. The gear hinge comprising the hinged and fixed planks is the same width as other planks in the deck structure thereby allowing interchangeability and modularity in building the deck structure and allowing the hinge to be placed anywhere in the deck structure. An articulated, sliding cover using similar gear hinge components is also disclosed.

摘要： A multiple section door system, such as an overhead residential garage door, wherein a variety of different door front configurations are formed with a limited number of panel designs by flipping or turning at least one panel relative to an adjacent panel. Each panel includes identical structured joint members along two longitudinal edges thereof which enable one panel to be "flipped" or turned such that the lower edge becomes the upper edge and vice versa, while an adjacent panel may remain in its original orientation. A third structured joint member is connected between the two adjacent joint members of adjacent panels. The third structured joint member is a male member, while the two structured joint members attached to each panel are female members. Adjacent female joint members of two panels form a universal pinch resistant joint with the male joint member.
