Abstract:
An appliance includes a hinge module between a main body and a pull-down door. The hinge module includes a housing, a rotational axis member disposed in the housing serving as a center of rotation between the pull-down door and the main body, an inner link housing movably disposed in the housing that moves with the opening of the pull-down door in a direction of the rotational axis member, and a damper installed in the inner link housing, the damper including a piston and a cylinder and providing damping force according to a relative movement of the piston and the cylinder. Any one of the piston and the cylinder of the damper moves with the inner link housing and the other of the piston and the cylinder of the damper moves by a predetermined distance as the inner link housing moves and then is interfered by the housing so as not to move further, and the piston and the cylinder of the damper starts damping, wherein the predetermined distance corresponds to an opening angle of the pull-down door in which the damping is started.
Abstract:
Hinge, to connect flat closing element to household appliance body in correspondence to a body opening, including: first supporting structure to bind to structure or front bearing wall of the body, second supporting structure to bind to flat closing element, first and second connecting elements to connect the first and second supporting structure, and elastically deformable member interacting with at least one of the two connecting elements, to push the closing element against the body opening. The first and second connecting elements and at least first and second portions respectively of the first and second supporting structure form sides of an articulated quadrilateral lying in one or more planes, perpendicular to the flat closing element. The quadrilateral for opening and closing the closing element between operative positions has hinge elements of external portions of the first and second connecting elements to the first and second portions of the supporting structures.
Abstract:
A household appliance (1) comprising a body (2) which is disposed into the furniture, a door (3) which allows access into the body (2) and moves by rotating around a horizontal axis and which is opened by holding a handle, a hinge (4) which connects the door (3) to the body (2), and a decorative panel (5) which is slidably mounted onto the door (3).
Abstract:
A hinge for doors of domestic appliances, comprising a first element and a second element pivoted to each other and movable relative to each other in tilting fashion, the first and second elements being fixable one to a frame and the other to a door of an electrical household appliance, for making the door movable with respect to the frame between a closed position and an open position, a lever for connection between the first and the second closing elements, an elastic element connected to the lever and designed to generate with its own deformation a force of elastic adjustment designed to compensate at least partially the weight force of the door during the opening or closing of the door, means for adjusting the intensity of the elastic reaction force.
Abstract:
A built-in refrigerator which includes a body; a door configured to open and close an inside of the body; a hinge configured to connect the body with the door; and a wire cover unit configured to guide a wire drawn from the body while a portion thereof slides according to an opening and closing of the door.
Abstract:
A hinge for doors of electric household appliances equipped with a decorative front panel mounted slidably relative to the door in a direction at a right angle to an axis of rotation of the door, including a first element fixable, in use, to the frame of the electrical household appliance and a second element pivoting on the first element through a respective first pin and fixable, in use, to the door, so that the door can be opened and closed by tilting relative to the frame of the electrical household appliance, a tie rod pivoting on the second element and having a respective first cam profile engaging with a guide member integral with the first element, elastic means which are operatively coupled to the tie rod to apply in use a retaining action on the door during the movement of the door from a closed position to an open position.
Abstract:
An appliance comprises a body and a door panel and/or drawer panel movable between a home position, an open position, and an over-travel position. A cosmetic panel may be coupled to the door and/or drawer panel. The appliance may further include an installation system and/or a positioning device. The positioning device is configured to bias the door and/or drawer panels to the home position from the over-travel position. The installation system is configured to establish the front-to-back alignment of the appliance. The installation system may be a direct mount installation system. The installation system may include an adjustment system configured to facilitate positioning the cosmetic panel to be co-planar with the surrounding cabinetry. The adjustment mechanism may further help establish small and consistent reveals.
Abstract:
A built-in domestic appliance comprising hinges for hinging a door to the furniture body of the built-in domestic appliance. The hinge device is adapted to perform an opening and closing movement of the door, a gap forming during this movement between the edge of the door and for example the front of the second furniture body adjoining the furniture body. In order to reduce the risk of injury caused for example by limbs being caught in the gap, the built-in domestic appliance is provided with a sensor device for monitoring the gap for foreign bodies and with a blocking device for blocking the hinge device when the sensor device detects a foreign body in a direction of movement of the door which would entail a reduction of the gap.
Abstract:
An overhead garage door having the appearance of a set of light-transmitting doors, such as French doors. The garage door includes arrays of light-transmitting panels on the door arranged to simulate light-transmitting doors, moldings, doorknobs, and hardware for connecting the garage door to a garage. The door may be formed from a plurality of sections arranged in a stack and pivotally connected to adjacent sections. The garage door may be formed from a kit having a plurality of door sections with light-transmitting panels mounted thereon and hinges for connecting the sections. The garage door may also be formed from a retrofit kit for modifying an existing garage door to have the appearance of a set of light-transmitting doors. The light-transmitting panels permit visible light to enter a garage and may be translucent. The panels may be made of polycarbonate acrylic.
