    摘要： The present invention relates to a safety locking mechanism for a lockset having a cover plate, a support plate, and a lock body. The safety locking mechanism includes a locking push rod having a direction-limiting shaft and a cylindrical rod, a locking stopper, and a locking compression spring. The direction-limiting shaft is mounted at one end of the cylindrical rod and the other end of the cylindrical rod passes through the support plate and presses against the cover plate. The locking stopper is rotatably mounted on the cylindrical rod and has a front end and a back end being close against the support plate and the lock body respectively. The lock body is provided with a direction-limiting groove. The direction-limiting shaft is mounted in the direction-limiting groove. The locking compression spring is mounted between the direction-limiting shaft and a bottom end of the direction-limiting groove in a compressed manner.

    摘要： The locking bolt of a swing bolt lock has an elongated opening that fits on a shaft in the lock's housing. The shaft has a compression spring that biases the bolt toward one side of the shaft. In normal operation, the compression spring urges the bolt such that the shaft is at one end of the elongated opening. There, the swing bolt pivots about the shaft to unlock the lock. When a person tries to force the lock, the elongated opening of the bolt moves against spring bias along the shaft. In one embodiment, flat surfaces in the opening and on the shaft engage each other and a notch on the outside surface of the bolt engages a stationary safety key. This prevents the bolt from applying sufficient force to break weaker parts within the lock mechanism and force the lock open.

In operation, the latch arm is rotated about a lug until it rests in the latch receiver and then is slid into a position where the arm cannot rotate.

    摘要： An abutment swivel doorstop has a mounting plate mountable onto a door frame, a stop member pivotally and slidably mounted on the mounting plate, a biasing means for urging the stop member in the disengaged position, a keeper pivotally mounted on the mounting plate, and a latch mountable on a door which is hingedly mounted within the door frame. The stop member is rotatable between a door opening position and a door blocking position and slidable between a disengaged and engaged position. The keeper is rotatable relative to the stop member between a locked and an unlocked condition. The keeper has a cam for urging the stop member against the biasing means and into the engaged condition as the keeper rotates between the locked and unlocked conditions. As the keeper rotates between the locked and unlocked conditions, the stop member engages and disengages the mounting plate and the latch for locking and unlocking the door to the door frame.

    摘要： A security lock for sash windows includes an elongated cam that revolves in order to engage a keeper. The security lock also includes a tab that urges the cam against a wall of a housing to provide extra security. Once the cam contacts the housing wall it will not rotate to open as occurs in conventional sash locks. A groove and a race within the top inside of the housing direct a guide affixed to the top of the cam a), initially in a circular direction, and b), finally into a lateral direction into engagement with a locking stud on the wall of the housing. A rotating tab affixed to the handle axle causes the final cam movement during the locking process.
