摘要: A mobile tower for transportation to and rapid deployment at remote sites where the mobile tower can be engaged with the ground, the mobile tower including an extendable and retractable tower secured to a mobile support structure including a frame having a plurality of rapidly deployable outriggers, wherein the tower includes three series of pivotally interconnected tower sections or segments, sections or segments of which engage with segments of each of the other series when the tower is assembled; the mobile tower including a plurality of guy wires secured between the extendable and retractable tower and the respective outriggers to stabilize the tower after the tower is assembled. The guy wires are preferably secured to the extendable and retractable tower at first and second connecting positions that are displaced from one another about an outer perimeter. Methods of deploying the mobile tower are also disclosed.

摘要: A stackable enclosure for support of a mast stored in horizontal position and tiltable to a vertically deployed position. The enclosure employs a housing have sidewalls constructed and arranged to support a plurality of stacked enclosures. A telescoping mast using a winch permits manual extension of three mast members. The housing can include a power system to operate a light bank. Outriggers positioned along each corner of the enclosure provide stability to the mast in high winds. A hinged axle can be used to pivot enclosure wheels upward, allowing the enclosure to rest flush on a deck drawing a width of about 48 inches. Alternative the wheels & axle can be removed wherein each enclosure has a width less than about 30 inches.

摘要: A pushing-out apparatus for an extendible mast includes a mast storing unit, a mast pushing-out unit and a mast pushing-out driving unit. The storing unit stores an extendible mast including stages of foldable trusses in a state that the stages are folded. The pushing-out unit is stored in the storing unit around the stage-folded mast stored in the storing unit. The driving unit moves the pushing-out unit to a projecting position in an outside of the storing unit while the stages of the mast are folded, sequentially extend out the folded stages of the mast stored in the storing unit by the pushing-out unit from the storing unit and push out the extended stages from the pushing-out unit of the projecting position in a side of the pushing-out unit opposing to the storing unit.

摘要: Modular fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) poles, suitable for distribution of electricity, telecommunications, lighting and all the other uses relevant to the poles, consisting of successive concave parts of constant cross section (tubes) of various shapes, corresponding annular joints and cap, which are joined together adhesively or/and mechanically.Production method of the poles of the invention, consisting of the assembly of the individual parts, which can be produced industrially in a cost effective manner by the methods of pultrusion (concave parts—tubes) and compression molding (annular joints and cap).Use of the poles of the invention, which can be provided either fully assembled or as a modular product into separate individual parts, packaged in such a way in order to save storage and transportation space and accompanied by the necessary materials, tools and manuals for their assembly and installation on-site.

摘要: A fall protection apparatus includes a heavy support base with a pivotal mast having a top member for rotation around the axis of the mast carrying a series of booms pivotal about respective vertical axes, each having an end coupling member for receiving a fall restraint harness. Each boom is formed by a tube which fractures on a fall and an elongate stainless steel strap inside the tube which bends without fracturing. The mast includes a series of telescopic rectangular mast sections with a winch driven cable and pulley arrangement for extending the first section which acts to pull the second inner section to the extended position as the first inner section moves out of the outer section. Each section includes first and second pulleys mounted at the same face of the section with the cable located between the face of the section and the face of the next section.

摘要: A lighting tower system comprises a tower having adjacent telescoping sections, the telescoping sections sliding relative to one another between retracted and extended positions, and the telescoping sections comprising at least an upper section and a lower section. A light assembly is rotatably mounted to the upper section such that the light assembly may be rotated from a first position parallel to the tower to a second position extending away from the tower. A storage container is positioned in the bed of a vehicle, and the tower is fitted in the storage container and connected to the storage container by a folding mechanism, the folding mechanism permitting the tower to move between a folded position inside the storage container and an upright position extending out of the storage container when the tower is retracted and the light assembly is in the first position.
