Abstract:
A scaffold system includes first and second spaced apart vertical posts. An upper support device mounts at an upper portion of each of the first and second vertical posts and includes spaced apart arms extending in a first direction from the associated vertical post for engaging the side of a building. A lower support device mounts at a lower portion at each of the vertical posts to support one or more planks and includes outriggers extending laterally and in a second direction opposite the first direction. The outriggers include a wheel mounted near an extended end of each of the outriggers to provide for rolling the system to a worksite. The outriggers may be vertically adjusted and combined in multiple combinations and with multiple arm configurations to adapt to uneven terrain.
Abstract:
This document discusses, among other things, modular carrier apparatuses and methods therefor. In an example, a carrier includes a storage section including a region configured to receive at least one scaffold component. A pallet fork receiver is coupled to the storage section. The pallet fork receiver is configured to accept a forked platform. An engagement feature is coupled to the storage section. The engagement feature is configured to couple with a corresponding feature of an adjacent structure positioned in vertical alignment relative to the carrier. The engagement feature is configured to self-align with the corresponding feature. In another example, a method of use of the carrier is included.
Abstract:
A rack and a hoist system. The rack is L-shaped with a first planar floor/leg and a second planar floor/foot, which is a solid plate. The first floor has three pairs of wheels with the middle pair larger than the other pairs and a mount to couple to the hoist via a hooked line that couples to a double-hooked line that hooks into apertures through paired mounting plates near the top end of the leg. The foot includes a tag-line mount from which a tag-line may be mounted to help guide movement thereof using the hoist. The foot includes wheels such that when the first floor is tipped up while being lifted, the wheels of the foot engage with the surface while the wheels on the leg are disengaging. There are flanking posts, strap structures, and flanking plates that help to secure the load (e.g. rebars, pipes, and sheet rock).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a container for parts of a shoring or scaffold system, the container comprising at least one mounting point for at least a part of the scaffold system, wherein in use, when the part is in its in use position, at least a portion of the part is engageable with the mount, and when the part is not in use, the container is adapted to carry the part. In use, the container is multipurpose, in that it is adapted to carry scaffold parts, or serve as a platform for the scaffold parts, or serve as a platform for the scaffold. When not in use, the container is adapted to be or be stored within the footprint of the scaffold.
Abstract:
An OSHA compliant container for scaffold frames and cross braces includes a floor bordered by recessed channels into which legs of scaffold frames may be placed. A central upright frame includes rest surfaces against which the upper ends of the first scaffold frame placed into the container may rest. A stop element in each channel prevents the lower ends of the scaffold legs from being placed against the upright frame. Upright posts at the corners of the base of the container support side rails which provide fall protection for a worker inside the container. Lanyard rings attached to the upright posts provide connection points for safety harness and for a gate to provide additional fall protection for a worker within the container. Underlying fork tubes extending longitudinally as well as transversely allow the container to be lifted by a fork lift from either end and either side.

Abstract:
A pair of dollies for storing and transporting scaffold frames is disclosed. Each dolly is made up of two identical dolly members containing a top plate, bottom plate, two side plates and a front and back plate. Communicating holes are inserted along the length of the top and bottom plates. The side plates of each dolly member has semi-circular cut outs on the top edges which correspond with the holes in the top and bottom plates. The end holes at the front and back of each dolly member have tubes permanently inserted to receive a typical scaffold 8 inch swivel caster wheel with brake. Scaffold frame legs are inserted into the remaining holes in the top and bottom plates of the dollies. The bottom cross member of each scaffold frame sits on the semi-circular cut outs on the top edges of the side plates. This device can be used for storage or transportation of scaffold frames.
Abstract:
A scaffold rack system, trailer or skid mounted, consisting of support arms with retainers to hang the scaffold panels on, a trough to contain the scaffold bracing, and compartments to store and secure scaffold platforms or planks, providing a safe and easy way of handling, organizing, transporting, and storing construction scaffolding and accessories.
Abstract:
A multiple function job site work cart in which the basic component is a wheel-based cart having a base, two opposing sides perpendicular to the base, and capable of being rolled in a horizontal or vertical orientation. With the incorporation of additional components including dividers, steps, a door, frames, outriggers, stabilizing bars, brackets, and others, the cart can be configured as a materials cart, wheelbarrow, storage cart, scaffold, ladder, dolly, sheet support, and other structures useful in a work setting. When not in use, the components can be packed into or coupled to the car for storage and/or transport.
