摘要: A stud spacer. The stud spacer includes an elongated bar having a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion includes at least one channel therein. At least one rod extends perpendicularly away from an interior surface of the second portion and is slidably engaged with the channel such that the second portion can selectively move between an extended position and a retracted position. When the second portion is in the extended position, a linear distance between a first end of the elongated bar and a second end of the elongated bar is greater than when the second portion is in the retracted position. At least one fastener is disposed on a lower side of the elongated bar.

The device comprises a portable framing table that can be driven in a trailer to remote locations and a pre-printed roll of framing tape that is used to tell a worker where different parts of a framed panel will go. The goal of the device is to facilitate the building of structures using a panel approach, with the framing table and template tape minimizing the chances that a worker will make a mistake in either the selection of materials or the location of the materials. The technology can also be used to construct entire walls, which are then either transported to the site, or merely “tilted-up” into place, having been constructed on the slab.

摘要: This disclosure relates to building trades where precise spacing between structural members ensures support via use of a plurality of elongate spacers. The spacers include at least one intermediate transit tacking member and a pair of nail- or screw-receiving apertures on opposing ends of thereof. One of the opposing ends serves as a pivoting end and the opposite end includes one or more relatively shorter member near the aperture formed therein. These member(s) can be driven into an adjacent trust or other support member while a final precise position is determined. To determine the final precise position to affix a given spacer one or more indicia is provided. Such indicia can include end edges, one or more cut-out features and/or one or more cut-out features and/or numbered or lettered (or other symbols) indicating the relative spacing from one end of the elongate spacer to the other.

摘要: A one-piece tool that is a jig for drilling pilot holes in deck boards by self-aligning along two axis on a planar surface in the form of a relative offset from the deck board and joist resulting in one point using the deck board and joist as a reference guide. The self-alignment feature replicates the position of the pilot holes for fasteners that are accurately on the centerline of joist and uniformly spaced and flush with deck board. Deck fasteners remain centered in the joist assuring optimal structural strength. The tool can be aligned to the right or left of the joist as needed with the same results.
