    摘要: A shoring leg comprises an extrusion of aluminum or the like. The leg has a plurality of axially extending slots in its exterior at substantially equi-angularly spaced positions. The wall of the leg defines a substantially circular outer periphery and a hollow interior. The wall is interrupted by slot formations at substantially equi-angularly spaced positions, each slot formation comprising a pair of inwardly directed lips defining a slot therebetween and an inwardly directed web of substantially semi-circular form extending between the points where the lips, on each side of the slot, extend from the said circular wall.

    摘要: A frame for supporting vertical loads and an aluminum tubular leg for such frame is disclosed. The legs are joined by a brace arrangement and connectors are used for mechanically connecting the brace arrangement to the legs for stabilizing the legs when under load. Each of the legs has spaced portions which are substantially symmetrical about a plane containing the longitudinal axes of the frame legs and which provide areas for mechanical connection of the brace arrangement to the leg. Such mechanical connection of the frame provides a versatile frame which may be used in concrete forming work and which may be readily repaired.

    摘要: A shoring system having base frames with legs preferably of extruded aluminum in oval cross-section (for optimal support with minimal use of materials) and optionally having three T-slots formed integrally therewith and extending the length thereof (for versatility in bracing), and preferably in combination with telescoping extension frames formed of extruded aluminum and adjustably inter-connected with respective uppermost base frames by U-pins (or channeled load collars) fastened through pairs of locating holes (or dual slots) spaced along each extension frame leg. The locating holes (or slots) are formed in thickened walls on either side of a central hollow core in each extension frame leg (to accommodate retraction of a jack screw mounted on the leg).

    摘要: Lightweight scaffolding is made of aluminum or other lightweight material. The scaffolding includes end frames with vertical and horizontal frame members, the latter having special shapes for greater strength in a vertical direction with rounded top surfaces having ridges to prevent slipping. The horizontal frame members are evenly spaced to provide rungs for workers to climb. The vertical frame members are of generally cylindrical shape with thicker portions on opposite sides, the thicker portions having flat surfaces. One portion provides a full surface to which ends of the horizontal frame members are welded. The other provides a stable surface to which an adjacent end frame can be fastened. Braces can be affixed by bolt and wing nut fasteners so that a brace can be fastened to either side of the vertical frame member. Simplified connecting pins connect vertically stacked end frames. The scaffolding also includes a base to provide added width and stability, to which base vertical frame members are affixed.
