摘要: A method of pulling a sheet of flexible material includes forming a row of a plurality of lengthwise slits in a sheet of material; providing at least one pull device; and providing at least one cable winch. A tubular pull rod is inserted through the plurality of slits. A pull device preferably includes a first pull strap, a second pull strap, a spreader bar and a strap ring. First and second pull devices are positioned near opposing sides of the sheet of material. First and second winches are secured to the floor on one sidewall of the building. The sheet of material is laid on the floor at an opposing sidewall of the building. Cables from the first and second winches are pulled over struts in the building and secured to the first and second pull devices. The sheet of flexible material is pulled to the one sidewall.

摘要: Embodiments of the invention provide composite roofing strips that may be attached to a roofing membrane for aesthetic and/or functional purposes and method of attaching the same. According to one embodiment, a composite roofing strip may include a longitudinally extending body having a base and a lateral member extending from the base, and may also include an insert extending partially or fully along the body and coupled therewith. The insert may be formable so as to allow the composite roofing strip to be adjusted to have a desired profile and to maintain the desired profile of the composite roofing strip post adjustment.

摘要: A roofing membrane retainer is provided having a cylindrical plate. The cylindrical plate has a central aperture for receiving a fastener. The plate also includes a pair of concentric inner and outer raised reinforcing ribs and a plurality of scoop-shaped projections. The scoop-shaped projections extend downwardly from the plate in concentric inner and outer cylindrical arrays. The inner cylindrical array of projections and the outer cylindrical array of projections are radially outward of the inner rib and the outer rib, respectively. The projections each comprise a scoop with a base periphery having an open mouth edge and a remaining peripheral portion contiguous with the plate. The projections in each array are spaced equidistance about the plate. The mouth edge of adjacent projections are oriented in alternating radial inward and outward directions.

摘要: A roof seam fastener system including a mechanical fastener member for mechanically attaching a roof membrane to a roof structure. The roof seam fastener system comprises a fastening assembly that creates a seal to either the roof membrane or a roofing substrate located directly below the fastening assembly. This fastening assembly also creates a seal against the mechanical fastener member. This combination results in redundancy which prevents any water penetration into the seam from entering the roofing envelope. The roof seam fastener system improves wind uplift resistance of the roof membrane and minimizes other weather related damage.
