    摘要: A beam is an H-shaped steel having flange parts above and under a web part. A through hole is formed on web part to let pipes and the like pass through. A ring beam reinforcing metallic material is disposed through hole. A beam reinforcing metallic material is disposed along the upper and lower flange parts at positions away from the through hole. The beam reinforcing metallic material on the front surface of the web part (opposite side of a flange of the ring beam reinforcing metallic material). The beam reinforcing metallic material in a direction in which a counter-flange surface of the beam reinforcing metallic material faces the flange part. A contacting surface is in contact with web part and is fixed to the web part with a welded section. At this time, the welded section is formed up to the height to which an angle varying section is covered.

    摘要: The invention includes an access structure integration assembly and an integrated system using the assembly. An access structure integrated assembly includes at least one channeled structure and at least one joist socket slidingly engaged with the channeled structure. The channeled structure is configured to secure to a base structure, such as a suspended work platform system, and the joist socket is configured to secure to a second structure, such as a supported work platform system. An integrated system includes a base structure, a second structure and at least two integration assemblies, each assembly including a channeled structure secured to the base structure and a joist socket secured to the second structure and slidingly engaged with the channeled structure.

    摘要: Structural members widely adaptable for use to build various composite structures and assemblies having horizontal and vertical supports, such as columns, beams and rails, are shown and described. The composite structural members include a longitudinal channel having a web and first and second legs. Each leg includes a plane that extends from a side of the web and is inclined relative to the web, and a cylinder is located at an edge of the leg that is spaced from the web. Various fittings can be used to engage at least one of the cylinders of the channel to fix the channel in position relative to a second, third and/or fourth channel to form the column, beam or rail. Further, select brackets can be used to attach together columns, beams and rails of the assembly.

    摘要: A structural framing system comprising at least one first framing component having upper and lower flange elements separated by a web element having a depth measured between the upper and lower flange elements, the upper and lower flange elements having positioning dimples spaced therealong, the upper dimples protruding from the upper flange element toward the lower flange element and the lower dimples protruding from the lower flange element toward the upper flange element in such manner that a distance between the upper and lower dimples is less than the depth of the web, at least one second framing component having a depth adapted to fit between the upper and lower flange elements of the first framing component and extending from positions along the first framing component substantially corresponding to the locations of the corresponding upper and lower positioning dimples, and at least one third framing component for securing together the first and second framing components, comprising a first plate member adapted to be secured to the web of the first framing component having a height substantially equal to the depth of the web of the first framing component, and a second plate member adapted to be secured to a surface of the second framing component, a portion thereof having a height less than the distance between the upper and lower dimples so as to avoid interference with the dimples during attachment of the third framing component to the first and second framing components.

    摘要: Precision-folded, high strength, fatigue-resistant structures and a sheet therefore are disclosed. To form the structures, methods for precision bending of a sheet of material along a bend line and a sheet of material formed with bending strap-defining structures, such as slits or grooves, are disclosed. Methods include steps of designing and then separately forming longitudinally extending slits or grooves through the sheet of material in axially spaced relation to produce precise bending of the sheet when bent along the bend line. The bending straps have a configuration and orientation which increases their strength and fatigue resistance, and most preferably slits or arcs are used which causes edges to be engaged and supported on faces of the sheet material on opposite sides of the slits or arcs. The edge-to-face contact produces bending along a virtual fulcrum position in superimposed relation to the bend line. Several slit embodiments suitable for producing edge-to-face engagement support and precise bending are disclosed. With these teachings, forming numerous three-dimensional load-bearing structures from a two dimensional sheet are enabled. Examples of straight and curved beams, chassis, and exoskeletons are disclosed.
