摘要: The invention relates to a fabric for lightweight nautical sails, such as spinnakers, asymmetric spinnakers, and gennakers, for sailboats and other surface vessels, the fabric being formed of continuous polyester warp and weft yarns and being coated on one or both of its two surfaces with a crosslinked polymer, characterised in that the polyester is poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) having a tenacity greater than or equal to 6 cN/dtex; in that the fabric has a density of between 20 and 50 threads/cm, in terms of warp and weft density; in that the polymer is a crosslinked polyurethane (PU) that is polyether-, polyester-, or polycarbonate based; and in that this PU is derived from the crosslinking (1) of a single-component polyurethane elastomer having a modulus at 100% elongation comprised between 1 and 15 MPa, better still between 2 and 15 MPa, in particular between 6 and 15 MPa, according to the standard DIN 53504, used in implementation in solvent phase; and (2) by a crosslinking agent, based on a proportion of dry crosslinking agent relative to the dry elastomer of between 20% and 75% by weight, in particular between approximately 30% and approximately 75% by weight. The coated fabric has an elongation in the bias direction under 20 Lbs, comprised between 10 and 30 hundredths of an inch.

摘要: A composite yarn fabric which can be suitably used as a material of a fiber-reinforced resin molded article is provided. The composite yarn fabric is obtained by weaving using composite yarns as at least one of the warp or the weft, the composite yarns obtained by doubling and twisting inorganic multifilament yarns and thermoplastic resin yarns. The inorganic multifilament yarns have a mass of 10 to 65 tex, monofilaments constituting the inorganic multifilament yarns have a fiber diameter of 6.6 to 9.5 μm, a melt flow rate of a thermoplastic resin constituting the thermoplastic resin yarns is 34 to 100 g/10 minutes, and a ratio of a mass of the inorganic multifilament yarns to a total mass of the composite yarns is 40 to 90% by mass.

摘要: The webbing construction absorbs stress and pressures on the edge of the webbing. The webbing locks into various hardware or an adjustment bar along the length of the webbing, such as every 1/32″ for slippage control of the webbing. The webbing of the present invention reduces the memory of folds made over a long period of time with a long shelf life. The webbing construction of the present invention can be used in a wide array of applications, such as for clothing belts, seat belt webbing, watch bands, backpacks, straps and the like. As a result, the webbing of the present invention addresses the shortcomings of the prior art to provide a superior webbing construction.

The fabrics may comprise modacrylic fibers, meta-aramid fibers, anti-static fibers, and optionally para-aramid fibers, and the fabrics may comprise: about 10% or 20% to about 60% or 80% modacrylic fibers by weight of the fabric; about 20% or 40% to about 80% meta-aramid fibers by weight of the fabric; about 0.1% to about 2% anti-static fibers by weight of the fabric; and about 0% to about 10% para-aramid fibers by weight of the fabric.

摘要: A woven textile fabric, the fabric including: a warp yarn with a yarn count of 20 s to 60 s including a blend of a cotton, a recycled cotton and a recycled polyester; and a weft yarn with a yarn count of 20 s to 60 s including a blend of a cotton, a recycled cotton and a recycled polyester, wherein the total content of the recycled cotton in the fabric is at least about 15%, further wherein the fabric exhibits rating of 3 or above when the fabric is tested for pilling after 1000 rubs. The advantageous fabric realized in accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure has excellent wrinkle resistance, high tensile strength, and low pilling.
