摘要: A coating material and a surface coating method for an in-furnace structure, and an in-furnace structure that are excellent in resistance to corrosion by the sulfur group. The coating material for an in-furnace structure used in a high-temperature corrosive environment including a sulfur group element includes as component composition, by mass, Co: 45% to 72%, both inclusive, Mo: 20% to 35%, both inclusive, Cr: 8% to 25%, both inclusive, and Si: 0.1% to 5%, both inclusive, and substantially without Ni. In the surface coating method used in a high-temperature corrosive environment including a sulfur group element, a coating is formed on a surface of the in-furnace structure by overlay welding or thermal spraying of the above-described coating material. In the in-furnace structure used in a high-temperature corrosive environment including a sulfur group element, a coating using the above-described coating material is formed on a surface of the in-furnace structure.

摘要: An yttrium-base sprayed coating is obtained by thermally spraying yttrium oxide, yttrium fluoride or yttrium oxyfluoride onto a substrate to form a coating of 10-500 μm thick, and chemically cleaning the coating with a cleaning liquid of organic acid, inorganic acid or a mixture thereof until the population of particles with a size of up to 300 nm becomes no more than 5 particles/mm2 of the coating surface. The yttrium-base sprayed coating exhibits high corrosion resistance even in a halogen gas plasma atmosphere and prevents yttrium-base particles from spalling off during etching treatment.

摘要: An embodiment relates to a material comprising a ceramic formed from an amorphous metal alloy (amorphous metal ceramic composite), wherein the composite exhibits a higher corrosion resistance than that of Haynes 230 when exposed to molten chlorides such as KCl or MgCl2 or combinations thereof at temperatures up to 750° C. Yet, another embodiment relates to a method comprising obtaining a substrate, forming a coating of an amorphous metal alloy, heating the coating, and transforming at least a portion the amorphous metal alloy into an amorphous metalceramic composite.

摘要: An example hydraulic system component of a machine includes a protective coating deposited by high velocity air fuel (HVAF) thermal spray, exhibiting high adhesion strengths and surface morphologies that promote lubricant adhesion and reduce the leakage of oil and/or hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic system. The coating may have surface roughness with RZ values less than 2 μm and hardness of 1000 Vickers or greater. The HVAF coating may be thinner than conventional coatings with thicknesses less than 100 μm. The HVAF coating may be deposited on a variety of steel components with adhesion strengths greater than those achieved by high velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF). The HVAF coating may be formed without time consuming roughening and/or post-grind operations, resulting in cost savings compared to conventional coatings. The coatings may have operational lifetimes of 1000 hours or more.

摘要: A method for constructing a porous micro-nano structure, includes: thoroughly mixing glass powders and metal powders to obtain a mixture; coating the mixture on a surface of a substrate, and forming a coating on the surface, wherein a temperature of forming the coating and a melting point of the glass powders comply with the following formula: Tforming≥Tglass−50° C.; and constructing a surface structure of the coating to obtain a porous micro-nano structure coating on the surface, such that a material with a porous micro-nano structure is obtained. The method is simple and has a low cost. The porous micro-nano structure coating prepared has excellent mechanical stability.
