    摘要: A steel-strip production method for producing a hot-dip-plated steel strip and a cold-rolled steel strip, the method being executed by a production apparatus including a continuous annealing furnace, a snout connected to the continuous annealing furnace, a contact-type seal plate device, a noncontact-type seal roll device, a hot-dip-plating tank being movable; and a roll configured to turn the path direction of the steel strip after passing through the snout, wherein a hot-dip-plated steel strip production unit configured to produce the hot-dip-plated steel strip by bringing the steel strip continuously annealed in the continuous annealing furnace into the hot-dip-plating tank; and a cold-rolled steel strip production unit configured to produce the cold-rolled steel strip by transferring the steel strip continuously annealed in the continuous annealing furnace without causing the steel strip to pass through the hot-dip-galvanizing tank, are configured to be switchable with one another.

    摘要: An electric induction gas-sealed tunnel furnace and process are provided. The exterior of the furnace's enclosure that forms a closed tunnel region is surrounded at least along its longitudinal length by a gas-tight barrier chamber that can be filled with a barrier gas to a different pressure than the pressure of the process gas in the closed tunnel region of the furnace. The inductors used to induction heat strips or plates in the closed tunnel region can be positioned within or outside of the gas-tight barrier chamber around the longitudinal length of the closed tunnel region.

    摘要: A device for heat treating metallic webs in-line, in particular for operation with a low-density protective gas, comprises stabilising nozzle systems which stabilise the course of the web and effect heat transfer, primarily by forced convection, in the heating portion and at least in the first portion of cooling. The web is guided in a non-contact process in the treatment portion localized by rollers. The course of the web exhibits a concave curvature (as viewed from above), at least in a partial area in the treatment portion. The area of said concave curvature can be in a fluid which is different from the fluid with which the web is blown in the heating portion and at least in the first portion of the cooling area.

    摘要: The sealing apparatus of the present invention is intended to enhance the sealing performance and to reduce the rotation loads at the end surfaces of elastic rolls. A sealing apparatus 20 is provided to hermetically seal the inlet/outlet of a bright annealing furnace 22, through which a metal strip 21 is passed. Since the metal strip 21 is held between a pair of elastic rolls 23 on both sides of the strip, the metal strip can be passed through while hermetic sealing is maintained. A covering member 34 and an end surface sealing member 39 made of elastic materials are disposed between the end surface of the elastic roll 23 and the side wall 26 of a casing 25 to attain reliable sealing. A first supporting member 35, a second supporting member 36. an outer bearing 37 and inner bearings 38 made of rigid materials are disposed between the covering member 34 and the end surface sealing member 39 to reduce the rotation loads of the rolls.

Compression is provided to the seal assembly such that the friction of filament movement tends to stretch the flaps to seal the resilient aperture about the filament. The seal assembly includes a clamp to enable ready replacement to minimize process down time during replacement.
