摘要: Compositions, methods of treatment for liver disease such as liver fibrosis, compositions, and methods for the manufacture thereof, comprising a plurality of macrophages derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), wherein the macrophages are polarized to a pro-inflammatory M1 phenotype and/or an anti-inflammatory M2 phenotype. Administration reduces fibrogenic gene expression and liver disease associated histological markers. The M1 macrophages express elevated CD80, TNF-α and IL-6. The M2 macrophages express elevated CD206, CCL17, and CCL22.

摘要: The present invention provides modified monocytes, modified macrophages, pharmaceutical compositions comprising the modified monocytes or modified macrophages described herein and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or excipient. Uses of the modified monocytes or the modified macrophages for the treatment of musculoskeletal diseases and inducing cartilage formation are provided. Also disclosed herein are in vitro culture methods for generating the modified macrophages.

摘要: The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for treating chronic stroke, involving injection via brain into the cranium of a patient having chronic stroke for six months or more; the pharmaceutical composition is a suspension at least comprising TS stem cells, an active synergistic component and a growth factor, wherein the expression level of CD34 and CD45 of the TS stem cells is 10% or less, and the expression level of CD90 and CD105 is 90% or more; the active synergistic component is an extracellular vesicle; the growth factor is at least one selected from the group consisting of HGF, G-CSF, Fractalkine, IP-10, EGF, IL-1α, IL-1β, IL-4, IL-5, IL-13, IFNγ, TGFα and sCD40L. The present invention overcomes the limitations of previous cell therapy and provides a cell-based preparation that is clinically safe and therapeutically effective for chronic cerebral stroke.

摘要: The improved 4-5 day, optionally 3-5 day GMP-compliant in-vitro method enables the production of macrophages from monocytes that benefits from a shorter cell culture time, fewer interventions whilst maintaining the desired characteristics of the human macrophages. The present invention describes a method wherein the monocytes are cultured in medium comprising one or more growth actors to stimulate macrophages with a pro-regenerative phenotype. The method described herein is xeno-free, serum-free and GMP compliant. In addition, further disclosed are macrophages produced according to the present invention and the use of said macrophages in the treatment of liver diseases, such as liver cirrhosis.
