摘要: Compositions including a vegetable- or animal-derived oil, such as fatty acid alkyl esters, are stabilized against oxidation using an oxygenated aminophenol antioxidant. The aminophenol includes one or two carbon-containing group(s) including a hydroxyl group and/or ether group separated from the N atom by one or more carbon atoms. The oxygenated aminophenol antioxidants effective at controlling oxidation at moderate and even low amounts, useful in a variety of different oil and methyl ester fatty acid preparations, and were effective at elevated temperatures, and performed significantly better than convention antioxidants.

摘要: The present invention relates to a device for electrically processing a fatty substance of plant origin, comprising a series of electrodes (1 and 2) and an enclosure (4), said device being characterised in that the enclosure (4) is provided with at least one electrical connector (5) placed on the outer surface (40) of the enclosure (4), a series of electrical connections for connecting each electrode of said series of electrodes to said electrical connector (5), with the current flow distances of the electrical connections being equal in relation to each other, and a first inlet (6) and a first outlet (7) for the fatty substance, and in that said device comprises a filter (12) having an inlet (13) in fluidic connection with said first fatty-substance outlet (7) of the enclosure (4) and an output (14) in fluidic connection with said first fatty-substance inlet (6) of the enclosure (4).

摘要: The present invention addresses the problem of providing a lubricating oil composition having excellent heat resistance (suppression of discoloration in heating) and tackiness while maintaining excellent viscosity properties of a lubricating oil composition using a ricinolic acid polymer. The present invention provides a copolymer (B) containing structural units (a) derived from ricinolic acid, structural units (b) derived from an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and structural units (c) derived from a diol having 2 to 10 carbon atoms in a specific ratio and having a specific intrinsic viscosity, and provides a lubricating oil composition containing a base oil and the copolymer (B) and having a mass ratio (mass of (A) /mass of (B)) of the base oil (A) to the copolymer (B) of 60/40 to 99.5/0.5.

摘要: A composition and method of making hydraulic fluids and lubricants using biodiesel as a blending component or base oil. Preferably around 0.1 to 45% of biodiesel is used as a blending component in a hydraulic fluid or as a base oil or additive in a lubricant. The use of biodiesel has environmental and cost advantages over other blending components or base oils. Lubricants and hydraulic fluids having ISO viscosity grades as low as 22 and 32 may be achieved by the use of biodiesel, while still meeting applicable standards for environmental acceptability.
