    摘要: In one aspect, embodiments disclosed herein relate to a wellbore strengthening composition including at least one polymer capable of polymerizing through a free radical polymerization reaction from the group of epoxy acrylates, modified epoxy acrylates, epoxy precursors, modified epoxy vinyl esters, unsaturated polyesters, urethane (meth)acrylates, polyester acrylates, epoxy vinyl ester resins having the wherein R and R1-R5 may be CH3— or H and R6-R21 may be H or Br, and polymer combinations thereof; and at least one initiator, wherein the resin is present in the amount from about 10 to about 90 weight percent.

    摘要: The invention relates to a selectively hydrogenated isoprene-styrene diblock copolymer having a polystyrene content of at least 40 wt. %, which when added to an oil-based mud composition, substantially reduces fluid loss. The polystyrene in the diblock has a true molecular weight greater than 60 kg/mole and the total apparent molecular weight of the diblock copolymer is at least 160 kg/mole. The drilling mud that contains about 0.5 pounds per barrel to about 10 pounds per barrel of a selectively hydrogenated isoprene-styrene diblock copolymer and a weighting agent, resulting in a drilling fluid composition exhibiting good suspension of the weighting agent and improved fluid loss performance.

    摘要: Formulation for a natural product as a replacement for the use of traditional acidic chemical stimulation methods for the emulsification, removal and release of paraffin and asphaltenes from low producing or pumped off wells and reservoirs with the use of traditional methodologies. Also a method of use of formulation for stimulating an oil well consisting of introducing into the wellbore a biodegradable, non-reactive fluid system containing a water-miscible fatty acid solvent, a solution of fatty acids, an amino alcohol, and at least one non-ionic surfactant. The fluid system may be further in the form of a nanoemulsion that is formed by combining a colloidal solution with one or more emulsifiers, an alcohol, and water. The fluid system may be used in well remediation and stimulation as well as additional, alternative applications such as the cleaning of surface and/or downhole equipment.
