Abstract: A method of enhanced oil recovery for a crude oil production well includes the steps of pyrolyzing rubber materials including the steps of heating the rubber materials to form pyro-vapors, condensing the pyro-vapors to form pyro-gas and pyro-oil where the pyro-oil includes an inhibitor solution including non-polar hydrocarbons and polar hydrocarbons. The inhibitor solution is injected as an injection stream into the crude oil production well to facilitate production of crude oil from the crude oil production well.

The acidizing treatment fluid itself includes the monovalent salt of monochloroacetic acid, the at least one bromide or iodide salt or salt precursor, and optionally an element to suppress precipitation of calcium glycolate and/or at least one acid.

Abstract: Disulfide solvents may be particularly effective for dissolving deposits comprising elemental sulfur, but the extreme odor of these solvent may make their use rather problematic. Solvent blends comprising at least one disulfide solvent, amine solvent, ketone solvent, and ester solvent may afford a less obnoxious odor and not appreciably compromise the sulfur dissolution capabilities. Surfaces contacted with such solvent blends or at least partially spent variants thereof may exhibit excessive odor due to loss of one or more of the amine, ketone, or ester solvents. Excessive odor resulting from a solvent residue upon a surface may be alleviated by contacting the surface with at least one oxidant. Odor balance may also be restored to at least partially spent solvent blends by introducing additional ester solvent, which may convert a biphasic mixture into an emulsion comprising the disulfide solvent.

The methods include emplacing in a wellbore a composition comprising an asphaltene inhibitor, wherein the asphaltene inhibitor is a compound prepared from the reaction of a polyethyleneimine dendrimer and one or more derivatizing reagents wherein the polyethyleneimine dendrimer has a weight average molecular weight of greater than or equal to 9 kDa.

Abstract: Proppant compositions and methods for using same are disclosed herein. In particular, a proppant composition for use in hydraulic fracturing is disclosed herein. The proppant composition can contain a plurality of particulates and at least one particulate of the plurality of particulates containing a chemical treatment agent. The at least one particulate having a long term permeability measured in accordance with ISO 13503-5 at 7,500 psi of at least about 10 D. The at least one chemical treatment agent can separate from the at least one particulate when located inside a fracture of a subterranean formation after a period of time.
