摘要： Sag control compositions, methods of forming sag control compositions, and methods of forming coating systems that include at least one coating layer including urea crystals of such sag control compositions are provided herein. In an embodiment, a sag control composition includes urea crystals and a non-polymeric organic solvent. The urea crystals include the reaction product of a polyisocyanate and a mono-amine. The sag control composition is a stable mixture with a single phase at a temperature of about 21° C. based upon visual observation for a period of at least 10 minutes after forming the mixture.

摘要： The present disclosure provides swellable pre-treatment compositions, printable media, and related methods. As such, a swellable pre-treatment coating for a print medium can include an evaporable solvent, a matrix, and a wax. The matrix can include from 10 wt % to 20 wt % of a fixer, from 25 wt % to 35 wt % of aluminum chiorohydrate, from (15 wt % to 10 wt % of a first binder, from 20 wt % to 30 wt % of a second cross-linkable binder, and from 1 wt % to 5 wt % of a cross-linker. The wax can be present at from 10 wt % to 20 wt %, The weight percentages of the matrix and the wax are based on a total amount present in the swellabie pre-treatment coating after removal of the evaporable solvent.

摘要： This invention provides a polymer film coating for use preferably with cold glue labels, particularly on the adhesive-receiving side of a label film. The coating includes a filler component and a binder component, at least one of which is hydrophobic. The coating imparts water resistance and solvent resistance to an adhered label, thereby improving resistance to label removal due to moisture or water contact. A coated label and method of applying the coating to a label film are also included.
