摘要: A method of producing a porous inorganic particulate material which comprises treating a particulate aluminosilicate material with a leaching agent which chemically reacts with or solubilizes aluminum and thereby leaches aluminum from the aluminosilicate material, wherein the particulate aluminosilicate material is a particulate hydrous aluminosilicate material which has been flash calcined.

摘要: A method of treating water containing silicon-containing impurities in a concentration of up to 10,000 parts per million by weight of the water, by contacting the water over a period of time with a particulate solid which entrains silicon-containing impurities in the water and subsequently separating the water from the particulate solid, wherein the particulate solid is a high alumina cement which is anhydrous when first contacted by the water.

摘要: A composition suitable for adding to water to produce a water-resistant hydraulic solid which composition comprises components (a), (b) and (c) as follows:(a) calcium sulphate hemihydrate;(b) portland cement;(c) calcined clay having a pozzolanic activity;wherein the percentages by weight of components (a), (b) and (c) in the said composition are in the respective ranges:(a) from 20% to 98%;(b) from 1% to 50%;(c) from 1% to 30%;the percentages of components (a), (b) and (c) adding to 100% in the three component composition.

摘要: A collapsible shipping container includes a floor, a roof, and a pair of bifolding sidewalls, that collapse accordion style to place the sidewalls and roof in a configuration wherein the roof is collapsed onto the sidewalls, and the sidewalls are collapsed onto the floor. The container further includes a pair of end walls having upper and lower end wall sections. The upper end wall sections may be lowered by activation of a power source to lie on the roof in the collapsed configuration. Collapse and erection of the shipping container may be accomplished with the aid of auxiliary equipment, such as a fork lift.
