摘要: Provided are an aqueous ink for ink jet that is capable of recording an image excellent in color developability and light fastness and is excellent in sticking recovery property, and an ink cartridge and an ink jet recording method each using the aqueous ink. The aqueous ink for ink jet contains a plurality of kinds of pigments and a wax particle. The plurality of kinds of pigments include a first pigment and a second pigment. The first pigment is C.I. Pigment Yellow 74, and the second pigment is C.I. Pigment Yellow 155. Further, the ink cartridge includes an ink storage portion configured to store the aqueous ink, and the ink jet recording method includes ejecting the aqueous ink from a recording head of an ink jet system to record an image on a recording medium.

摘要: The ink jet recording method includes ejecting an aqueous ink from a recording head to apply the aqueous ink to a recording medium, to thereby record an image. The ink jet recording method includes: ejecting the aqueous ink heated to a temperature TH (° C.) from the recording head to apply the aqueous ink to the recording medium; and heating the recording medium having the aqueous ink applied thereto to a temperature TF (° C.), the aqueous ink containing a pigment and a polyester resin particle, a glass transition temperature TG (° C.) of the polyester resin particle, the temperature TH (° C.) and the temperature TF (° C.) satisfying relationships of the following expressions (1) to (3).

摘要: The actinic radiation curable inkjet ink of the present invention includes an actinic radiation polymerizable compound, a crystalline polyester resin, and a gelling agent selected from the group consisting of aliphatic ester-based wax, aliphatic ketone-based wax, paraffin wax and microcrystalline wax. The image forming method of the present invention includes ejecting the actinic radiation curable inkjet ink heated to 40 to 120° C. through an inkjet head to land the actinic radiation curable inkjet ink ejected, onto a surface of a recording medium or an intermediate transfer member whose surface temperature is 60° C. or less, and irradiating the actinic radiation curable inkjet ink landed with actinic radiation.

摘要: A recording method uses an ink composition containing a colorant, resin particles, an organic solvent and water, and an aggregating liquid containing a coagulant for aggregating components of the ink composition. The method includes adhering the aggregating liquid to a recording region of a recording medium; adhering the ink composition to the recording region by ejecting the ink composition from a recording head; and drying the recording region to which the aggregating liquid and the ink composition are adhered such that an amount of the organic solvent in the recording region is 2.0 mg/inch2 or less to obtain a recorded material.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide an active ray-curable inkjet ink capable of further enhancing gloss uniformity, surface curability, and scratch resistance of a formed image. The purpose is achieved by an active ray-curable inkjet ink containing a polymerization initiator, a photopolymerizable compound, and a gelling agent, and that undergoes a reversible sol-gel phase transition by temperature change. The inkjet ink contains a polymerization initiator with a molecular weight of 360 or more, and a polyfunctional photopolymerizable compound. The inkjet ink contains 3.0 mass % or more and less than 8.0 mass % of the polymerization initiator with a molecular weight of 360 or more, 1.0 mass % or more and less than 5.0 mass % of the gelling agent, less than 0.1 mass % of the initiator with a molecular weight of 360 or more, and less than 5.0 mass % of the monofunctional photopolymerizable compound.

The lamination process includes: laminating together the substrate, the imaged transfer paper, and a release paper, whereby the image is transferred from the transfer paper onto the substrate.

摘要: The present invention addresses the problem of providing an ink-jet recording method with which it is possible to sufficiently remove air bubbles contained in an actinic-ray-curable ink-jet ink and to heighten the delivery stability and curability of the ink. The ink-jet recording method employs an actinic-ray-curable ink-jet ink which comprises a colorant, a photopolymerization initiator, and a photopolymerizable compound. The ink-jet recording method comprises: a step in which the ink-jet ink is introduced into a depressurized space within an ink-jet recorder and deaerated at an ink temperature which is 50° C. or higher but lower than 120° C.; a step in which droplets of the deaerated ink-jet ink are ejected from the recording head and delivered to a recording medium; and a step in which the ink droplets delivered to the recording medium are irradiated with actinic rays to cure the ink droplets.
