摘要: The unwinder includes an unwinding station, in which to arrange a reel to be unwound. In the unwinding station there is arranged a series of guide rollers, defining a feed path of the web material. There are also provided: a cutting member adapted to cut a web material coming from an exhausted reel; and splicing members to splice a trailing edge of a first web material coming from an exhausted reel to a leading edge of a second web material coming from a new reel. A pick-up device is configured to pick up the leading edge of the second web material from a temporary retaining element, carried by a transfer unit to transfer reels to the unwinding station.

A retaining element (12; 42) mounted on the support (11; 41) and arranged to move between a closed position, in which the retaining element (12; 42) retains the axle (7) of the reel (2) in the recess (16; 46), and an open position, in which the retaining element (12; 42) releases the axle (7) of the reel (2) from the recess (16; 46). The retaining element (12; 42) is biased towards the closed position. Also, a supporting module (1) has at least one foil reel mounting device (10; 40) and a stamping machine (100) includes a supporting module (1) or at least one foil reel mounting device (10; 40). A method for loading and unloading a reel (2) of stamping foil (3) with such at least one foil reel mounting device (10; 40) is also disclosed.

摘要: A capstan includes a lift motor, a flexible lifting member, and a tether assembly. The lift motor is operatively connected to a shaft. The flexible lifting member includes a first end and a second end. The first end is connected to the shaft. The flexible lifting member connects a lift assembly to the lift motor via the shaft. The tether assembly includes a switch arranged between a portion of the flexible lifting member and a portion of the capstan. The second end is connected to the tether assembly. The switch acts as a safety in case of a broken flexible lifting member and allows for an automated unloading cycle.

摘要: A method of grounding a dispenser. A low impedance path is connected to elements internal to the dispenser. The low impedance path is also connected to a surface contact spring which is adapted to contact an external mounting surface when the dispenser is affixed thereto. Static electrical charge accumulated on the elements is discharged through the low impedance path and the surface contact spring to the external mounting surface.
