Abstract:
The disclosed systems and methods relate to improved tamper-proof cases for securely storing and shipping products. In one example, a tamper-proof case comprises a unibody frame constructed from a single piece of material. The unibody frame can comprise six sides and include one or more living hinges that allow the unibody frame to fold into a completed case. Various sides can be configured to receive panels to give the crate additional structure, rigidity, and security. Additionally, the frame can comprise a split-top lid with a self-locking mechanism with a tamper-proof pull tab for opening the lid.
Abstract:
A package comprises a container and a wrapper of flexible multi-layer laminate sheet material surrounding the container. The wrapper comprises a first layer and a second layer outside the first layer. A first cut line in the first layer defines a first region of the first layer which overlies a lid of the container. A second cut line in the second layer is offset from the first cut line. The second cut line defines a second region of the second layer. The second region overlies the lid and includes a peripheral portion where the second layer extends beyond the lid. The peripheral portion of the second layer is separable from the first layer and can be used to lift the lid into the open position. The peripheral portion can be resealed against the first layer.
Abstract:
Provided is an eye drop container having superior identifying power. The eye drop container includes an identifying indicium including a shape, a pattern, a color or combination thereof imparted to a lateral face of a container body, and a further identifying indicium identical or similar to the identifying indicium imparted to a lateral face of a cap part which is detachably attached to a dispensing mouth of the container body, the indicia making it possible to identify the unity of the container body and the cap part. The container is packaged by a sealing label that renders these identifying indicia visible when the cap part is attached to the container body.
Abstract:
A mechanical closure for includes a cap hinged in an oscillating manner about an axis, a pair of tie-rods respectively articulated at their first end on opposite sides of the cap with respect to the axis and hinged at their opposite second end on a corresponding first end of a respective arm. Each arm is provided at its second opposite end with a respective pin, the pins being coaxial and intended to hinge the arms on a neck of a bottle. An arc connects the arms to one another so that the arms may be jointly actuated to rotate about the respective pin. The mechanical closure includes a tamper indicator provided to indicate the first opening of the mechanical closure includes a band which interconnects the arms and/or the tie-rods on the side opposite the arc so as to prevent the arms from oscillating about the respective pins.
Abstract:
Packaging (1) is provided with a frangible seal (180), together with a method of producing such packaging. The packaging comprises an outer packet part (100) and multiple inner packet parts (150) disposed within the outer packet part. The inner packet parts can move relative to the outer packet part between a closed position and an open position. The seal (180) comprises a body portion coupled to the outer packet part, and separable portions each coupled to one of the inner packet parts. When an inner packet part (150) is moved from the closed position to the open position, this causes the seal (180) to break.
Abstract:
A container for fluid products, in particular perfumes, deodorants, creams and the like, comprising: a holding body (2) for containing the fluid (6), preferably a perfume, deodorant or similar product; a dispensing member (3) associated with said holding body (2) and having a tube (4) to draw said fluid (6) from the holding body, and a spray head (5) to dispense the fluid drawn by said tube (4), said spray head (5) being at least partly inserted in said holding body (2). The container (1) also comprises a transponder device (8) of the near-field type.
Abstract:
A closure seal or tamper evident pressure sensitive label of a sandwich construction for use at the opening seam of packaging to be sealed to indicate whether the package has been opened or otherwise tampered with. The label includes a facer material, a liner material and a pressure sensitive adhesive therebetween. The facer material has cut out a lower label section joined to an upper pull tab section with adjacent tab wings. The upper pull tab section has a liner material portion cut out to adhere to a back or under side of the upper tab section upon pulling the label off the liner material for use. The lower label section and wings has exposed adhesive upon the label being pulled off the liner material for use. Once the label is placed on the packaging, the lower label section and the upper pull tab with adjacent tab wings are aligned to straddle the opening seam of the packaging. The tab maybe pulled away from the label and torn away from the wings while remaining intact with the lower label section to evidence the package has been opened or otherwise tampered with. The label is manufactured by a flexo-graphic web method.
Abstract:
A beverage container sealing lid includes a pouring aperture with a hinged closure arranged to seal the aperture. An engagement assembly is located on an inside of the lid and has first and second engagement means. The first and second engagement means include first and second concentric recesses formed on an inside of the lid for engagement with beverage containers having can ends of corresponding first and second diameters. A skirt depends downward about the lid for a sufficient distance to provide an area for the skirt to bear markings such as logos, slogans, indicia and the like.
Abstract:
A biodegradable tube comprises a mom-rigid paper tubular body defining a lumen for containing a semi-solid composition; a paper tubular cap that slidably mates with the body; and wherein interior surfaces of the each of the body and the cap have a coating that is substantially impermeable to the semi-solid composition. In preferred embodiments the tube body and cap have tapered sealed ends, the coating comprises an adhesive, and the walls of the tube/cap comprise a rolled paper material upon which the coating has been applied. Contemplated semi-solid product materials include for example lip balm, facial cream, lotion, deodorant, sunscreen, caulk, grease sticks, mosquito repellant, and shoe polish.
