    Abstract: A portable, resealable storage container and a method for manufacture are provided. The container includes a body having a bottom opposite an opening, and sidewalls attached to the bottom, wherein the body defines a storage cavity. A top having an attachment band and a flap operable to connect to and disconnect from the attachment band covers the opening of the body when connected to the body. A ridge is disposed along an outer surface of the sidewalls and is configured to provide a seat for the attachment band of the top. A mating surface disposed at an upper end of the sidewalls above the ridge and is operable to contact the attachment band of the top. When the top is positioned to sit atop the ridge, the attachment band is in substantially continuous contact with the mating surface. The top is securely fastened to the body.

    Abstract: The present embodiments describe an insulated drinking vessel with a multifunction lid. In an embodiment, the drinking vessel can be configured to receive a multifunction lid. The multifunction lid may, in one embodiment, include an opening for receiving a drinking straw. In an embodiment, the multifunction lid may additionally include an opening for drinking or sipping directly through the lid. In an embodiment, the lid may include an operable cover for covering at least one of the openings in a first position and for allowing access to the fluid through the opening in a second position. In a further embodiment, the lid may include a plurality of operable covers. A first operable cover may be configured for covering the drinking straw opening in a first position and allowing insertion of a straw in a second position. The lid may also include an operable cover for covering the sipping spout in a first position and allowing drinking directly through the spout in a second position.

    Abstract: A beverage container lid assembly and insert enable a user to selectively control contained beverage movements when outfitted upon a beverage container. The lid assemblies all include a primary lid form having a primary beverage outlet and a secondary lid attachment cooperably engaged with the primary lid form for providing certain beverage flow diversion structure. The secondary lid attachments may be attachable to select surfacing of the primary lid forms for forming a beverage-receiving compartment intermediate the primary lid form and the secondary lid attachment in which compartment heat transfer is effected by the structural characteristics of the defined space. The lid assembly may be attached to a beverage container such that the user may manually position the secondary lid attachment relative to the primary lid form for manually and selectively position beverage flow diversion structures relative to the primary beverage outlet.
