Abstract:
A railway vehicle car includes a lower level and an upper level that are separated by an intermediate floor. The intermediate floor defines an opening emerging on the upper level and on the lower level, and also defines a bridge extending at least partially along the opening. The bridge connects a first longitudinal end and a second longitudinal end of the car on the upper level. The circulation of passengers is blocked on the lower level at least at one of the first longitudinal end and the second longitudinal end.
Abstract:
A passenger cabin for a means of transport is provided, which comprises an upper passenger deck and a lower passenger deck. The floor of the upper passenger deck comprises a lower and an upper region arranged therebeside, which are interconnected via a step or a ramp. There is an aisle in the lower region. The floor of the lower passenger deck likewise comprises a lower and an upper region arranged therebeside, between which there is a lowered aisle which is arranged so as to be laterally offset from the aisle of the upper passenger deck. The available surfaces of the upper and the lower passenger deck are mirror-symmetrically arranged. In this way, the space available can be used very effectively in order to accommodate more passengers.
Abstract:
The dining car (10) includes first and second side structures laid out facing each other, and a first lower floor (16), the dining car comprising a first consumption area (Z1), a second preparation area (Z2), and a third technical area (Z3). The first side face includes first supporting portions intended to support a second upper floor (20), and the first (Z1), second (Z2) and third (Z3) areas are all made on the first lower floor (16).

Abstract:
Exemplary double-decker vehicle for railway rolling stock for the transport of passengers comprises at least: one lower deck and one upper deck, each deck having a multiplicity of seats for passengers, and at least one access door with an access step. According to aspects of the system, apparatus, and method, the vehicle can include, among other features, a circulation system connecting the access step to the upper deck and having at least two sloping circulation paths to provide access for persons with reduced mobility to the upper deck.
Abstract:
The Application discloses People & Cargo Transit Systems & Vehicles (PCTSV), using Narrow Vehicles (NV), which can have the form of a Bus, Train, Tram, Maglev, Mono-Rail or even Car or Truck. A prefered version of which is Single Seat Wide or below 70 cm wide, preferably a Bus type to need no Rail, using Dedicated Narrow Lanes adjacent to Curbside of existing intra-city streets or limits of inter-city roads. Said NV and Lane have Anti-Roll Over Means to stablize such a narrow vehicle, which also eliminate NV Swaying even when NV is a Bus or Car with has no inherent Sway Limiting. Being Ultra Narrow with No Sway and Running at Curbside results in Negligible or No Blocking of other vehicles by NV.Said Lane/Tack, Anti-Sway & Anti-Roll Structures all Allow being Run Over by other Traffic and have structures not to be damaged, thus can be crossed over at Crossroads and other entrances and exits along said Lane. NV has enough Doors and is Narrow, hence each Passenger can reach a seat or exit, with No Isle inside it to walk along. So it can have Low Profile, like a Sports Car, some 120 cm tall. Hence it is easy to have Covered Trenches at cross roads for non-stop crossing. Trenches can nm along most or all the Track, in which case adherence to streets and roads is releived. Such Narrow and Shallow Trenches take a tiny fraction of time and costs of Skyways or Subways. Each Passenger thus can have her own door, own seat, in a small Cabin, which can be oppened and closed to next Cabin, have reclining seats to join to that of next Cabin to sleep on, have laptop tray, etc. All those make PCTSV much more appealing to user's, even better than private transport. There are many Variations other than above. There is an NV Car for the last mile and or long distance use, which can integrate with NV Public Transit. Also modifications to NVs for use in Cargo and Parcel Transit.
Abstract:
A railroad car having an upper and lower level is disclosed. The lower level is positioned above a flat center sill extending along the length of the car and supported above the axles of the wheels at either end of the car. The upper level is positioned vertically above the lower level. Each of the levels includes doorways opening to the floor region of the respective levels. Having a doorway at each level permits a freer flow of passenger and railroad service personnel traffic between railroad cars. The upper level includes an observation deck having an integral window member which has a substantially vertical portion, a curved portion, and a generally horizontal portion. The shape of the duct system ensures that forced air is evenly distributed along the car.
