Abstract: Roofing panels with water shedding features may be installed on the roof of a house or other structure in lieu of or as an underlayment for traditional roofing materials. The water shedding features can be built into a base of the roofing panels, as part of a frame for the roofing panels, or formed as part of a waterproofing layer applied to the base of the roofing panels, or which can be configured as a roofing panel. The roofing panels also can be installed in overlapping courses along a roof with water shedding features applied thereto or incorporated along one or more peripheral edges. The water shedding features of adjacent roofing panels will collect and divert water away from the upper surfaces and/or away from headlap and/or sidelap joints defined between the roofing panels.

Abstract: A photovoltaic (“PV”) module mounting system including a rail having a base wall and opposed first and second sidewalls extending outwardly therefrom. The first and the second sidewalls each have a flange extending outwardly therefrom. The flanges form a mounting surface adapted to support a PV module. The first and the second sidewalls define therebetween an open channel. A wire support is disposed between the first and second sidewalls and is adapted to support wires extending through the channel at a distance spaced from the base wall. The wire support divides the channel into a wireway and a water channeling portion. The wire support includes an opening therein to permit fluid communication between the wireway and the water channeling portion.

Abstract: The invention relates to a flat roof structure comprising a water attenuation layer comprising at least one water attenuation layer comprising at least one water attenuation element formed of man-made vitreous fibres bonded with a cured binder composition. The flat roof structure further comprises a water reducing layer below the water attenuation layer, and at least one drainage point in fluid communication with the water attenuation layer and arranged to direct water from the flat roof structure towards the ground. The binder is an aqueous composition free of phenol and formaldehyde comprising:
a component (i) in form of one or more lignosulfonate lignins having a carboxylic acid group content of 0.03 to 2.0 mmol/g, based on the dry weight of the lignosulfonate lignins,
a component (ii) in form of one or more cross-linkers.
