    摘要： A door system for a vehicle, including a door assembly and lateral roof assembly. The door assembly includes a door frame body, at least a first sealing member and a glazing element. The lateral roof assembly includes a lateral roof portion and at least a second sealing member. The door frame body surrounds at least partially the glazing element. The door frame body is movable between an open and closed position relative to the lateral roof assembly. The glazing element is adjustable between an open and closed position. The first sealing member is arranged between the glazing element and door frame body and seals the glazing element in the closed position of the glazing element. The second sealing member is arranged at the lateral roof portion and receives at least one edge of the glazing element in the closed position of the glazing element and door frame body.

    摘要： A motor vehicle molding assembly for concealing the space between the edges of a window panel and a door which are mounted to a pillar. The molding assembly has a retainer mounted to the pillar. The retainer has a first projection projecting generally perpendicular to the pillar, with a hook formed at the end of the first projection. A dual durometer molding has a rigid portion having a groove with a catch portion adapted to receive and engage the hook of the retainer to secure the molding to the door pillar. A pliable portion encases the rigid portion and has a pair of legs depending towards and engaging the retainer mounted to the pillar for biasing the dual durometer molding away from the retainer and maintaining the engagement of the hook with the catch portion. A continuous flexible lip is extruded integral with the pliable portion and bridges across the top of the legs and the interposed rigid portion. The lip has a window engaging portion overlying the edge of the window and a door engaging portion underlying the door whereby the dual durometer molding bridges across the space between the window panel and the door.

    摘要： A vehicular window assembly such as a front windshield in the preferred embodiment includes a window panel and a casing molded on a first portion of the peripheral edge of the window panel. A trim strip covers and finishes portions of the periphery of the assembly. The trim strip extends continuously without interruption from the window panel edge to a mounting rib on the casing through a transition area. The trim continues along the casing and is spaced from the window panel edge. When installed, the casing and trim strip fill the space between the window panel and vehicle body to reduce wind noise when the vehicle is moving and improve weather sealing around the window.

    摘要： A sunroof device includes a sunroof unit, a looped first seal, and a second seal. The sunroof unit supports a panel capable of closing an opening of a roof of a vehicle. The sunroof unit includes a frame provided with two guide rails placed on two edges of the opening in a vehicle widthwise direction and two housings placed on two edges of the opening in a vehicle front-to-rear direction to connect front ends of the two guide rails to each other and rear ends of the two guide rails to each other in the vehicle widthwise direction. The first seal is arranged between an entire periphery of the opening and the frame. The second seal is arranged between opposing surfaces of the guide rails and the housings at portions where the guide rails are coupled to the housings. The second seal is butt against the first seal.
