摘要: An aircraft tire includes a tire body forming an outer peripheral part of an aircraft wheel; and a protrusion with a pressure receiving surface configured to receive flight wind pressure toward one end and a streamline shape tapering toward another end. The protrusion rotates the aircraft wheel before touchdown through flight wind pressure received by the pressure receiving surface. The protrusion includes a pair of legs; a weight portion with a center of gravity positioned outwardly of respective horizontal positions of the pair of legs with respect to a center line widthwise of the tire body; and a hollow part extending between the ends of the protrusion. Centrifugal force that acts on the weight portion causes the pair of legs to fall over in a direction toward an outer periphery of the tire body to narrow the hollow part for reduction of an area of the pressure receiving surface.

摘要: A tire includes first and second sides defining first and second rotation directions. The first rotation direction is in a counterclockwise direction when the tire is viewed from the first side, and the second rotation direction is in a clockwise direction when the tire is viewed from the first side. The tire further includes a carcass ply extending from a first bead portion to a second bead portion, and a circumferential tread disposed above a belt. At least one of the circumferential tread and the carcass ply causes the tire to exhibit a first tire performance when the tire is rotated in the first rotation direction, and a second tire performance that is different from the first tire performance when the tire is rotated in the second rotation direction. The tire performance is selected from the group consisting of braking, dry driving traction, wear performance, and snow traction performance.

摘要: A vehicle control device and a vehicle are provided with compatibility between high grip performance and fuel efficiency. When a camber angle of a wheel is adjusted as a negative camber, the ground contact pressure on a first tread is increased and the ground contact pressure on a second tread is decreased, thus providing the high grip performance. On the other hand, when the camber angle of the wheel is adjusted as a positive camber, the ground contact pressure on the first tread is decreased and the ground contact pressure on the second tread is increased, thereby reducing rolling resistance and achieving fuel saving. By adjusting the camber angle of the wheel, compatibility can be provided between high grip performance and fuel saving which otherwise conflict with each other.
