    摘要: A tire assembly includes a tire having an annular tread between and connected to outer edges of opposed first and second sidewalls. The first and second sidewalls terminate at radially inner edges defining first and second bead sections, respectively. The tire also has a first interior wall having one edge coupled to the tread and an opposite free edge. The first interior wall is positioned between and generally parallel to and spaced from the first and second sidewalls. A first annular spacer is positionable adjacent the first bead section between the first sidewall and the first interior wall on one side of the first interior wall. A second annular spacer is positionable on the opposite side of the first interior wall. The first and second annular spacers are configured to generally maintain a spacing of the first and second sidewalls and the first interior wall relative to one another.

    摘要: A wheel assembly is configured for suspending the wheel of a motor vehicle on one side and includes a brake disc, which is part of a disc brake and which is fixed, when viewed in the radial direction, to a wheel disc on the outer circumference of the wheel assembly in close vicinity to a wheel rim. The brake caliper of the disc brake surrounds the brake disc over the inner circumference of the brake disc and is fixed to a wheel carrier that supports a stationary ring of a wheel bearing, which has a rotating ring that supports a wheel hub that in turn is connected to the wheel disc. The invention brake disc is fastened to the wheel disc in a floating manner and/or in an elastically flexible manner in the radial direction.

    摘要: A wheel assembly includes spaced first and second lateral supports. The first lateral support includes a first mount and the second lateral support includes a second mount that is axially aligned with the first mount. All space between the first mount and the second mount is devoid of any structural component that directly interconnects the first and second lateral supports. The wheel assembly also includes a circumferential rim structure that is adapted to support a tire. The first and second lateral supports attach to the rim structure at first and second locations, respectively, that are radially spaced from the first and second mounts, respectively. Vehicles and swing-arm assemblies including exemplary wheel assemblies are also provided.
