The slide plate can include an elongate body having a first section and a second section. A first bore can extend through the first section of the elongate body of the slide plate and a second bore can extend through the second section of the elongate body of the slide plate. The slide plate of the die changer can be moved within the channel of the housing between a first position where the first bore in the first section of the elongate body of the slide plate is aligned with the main supply feed bore and a second position where the second bore in the second section of the elongate body of the slide plate is aligned with the main supply feed bore.

The filtration apparatuses can include a housing with one or more supply channels and discharge channels. The filtration apparatus can also include one or more screen-bearing pistons with filter screen cavities therein for receiving filter screens that filter material flowing from the supply channels through the filter screens and out through the discharge channels. Back flushing channels can be formed by alignment of mating channels in the pistons and the housing. The filtration apparatuses can also include a controller that can communicate with a hydraulic power unit to that can be assisted by a rapid accelerator device to control the filtration apparatus. The filtration apparatuses can include filter screen retention plates.

摘要： A device for filtering a thermoplastic melt, comprising a housing having at least one fluid feed channel and at least one fluid discharge channel and having at least two bores. The bores are in fluid communication with the fluid feed channel and the fluid discharge channel, and each houses a displaceable bolt provided with a filter unit having an inflow side and an outflow side. Each displaceable bolt can be moved at least between a filtering position and a back-flushing position. In a filling position, in which fluid flows from the outflow side of the filter unit to a storage cavity formed in the bore by the movement of the displaceable bolt. When the displaceable bolt moves into the back-flushing position, the fluid then again flows through the filter unit to the at least one back-flushing channel and thus escapes from the housing.
